C'mon, Let's not get crazy here

Don't get me wrong, I love watching Wall play, but to say all that is crazy. Passing/scoring balance like Thomas? We'll see if he develops a jumpshot he can get off in the NBA. Right now his shot is just OK, and thats when he is wide open. Slow release, improving but still off form will inhibit him against tight NBA length defense. Court vision like Kidd- Wall has court vision that is good, but not JKidd's level. Plus he forces way to often (Look at his ridiculously high TO's!). As for defense, he has great (and I mean GREAT) potential on this end. I don't think he is a very good defender at this point, but rather a guy who lives off his athleticism. I have seen way too many times this year where he loses either his man or the ball, gets beat and then hangs slightly behind the play (false hustle) so that he can leak out. All that said, his amazing speed and athleticism plus his court vision and defensive potential mean that i would still take him top 2 even if I am a little skeptical of all the way-to-high praise he is getting for his TO prone, inconsistent year. Could be great, could be Sherman Douglass. Oh, and the Wade comparison? WTF?

You pretty much summed up

You pretty much summed up the best point guard imaginable...so you think John Wall will be the greatest pg, and perhaps player the NBA has ever seen? Why don't we let him play a few seasons first before making such outlandish statements.

That sounds like somebody I

That sounds like somebody I used to create in NBA 2K1 as a kid, not an actual basketball player.

ChrisP is right on the

ChrisP is right on the money. i understand youre enthusiasm TONYDABOSS77 but you go overboard with some of these guys potential..namely wall and tuner. walls defense isnt not like roses. he is a good passer but a notch below kidd at the same stage. and i wouldnt put him as the same balance as thomas. he has some pretty noticable flawsliek bad turnovers and not being as effective at half court like he is at full court. he is still very veyr good but he still has a ways to go

The only thing in your

The only thing in your comparisons I can agree with as of right now is the scoring instincts and clutch play of Wade. He has the potential to be a defender like Rondo on the ball, and be fairly close to Lebron off the ball, but he's only shown glimpses of that right now.

I think Wall is a good passer and scorer, but Kidd and Thomas??? Nah, he's not nearly the playmaker for others Kidd is. Or Thomas for that matter.

I think he can be a D.Wade type, but I don't think he has all the stuff going for him that you named. He'd be arguably the best player to come out of college ever if he did, and he'd be on his way to becoming a top 5 or so All-Time player. I just don't see that in him, even though I do think he'll be a top NBA player.

Size of Thabeet, athleticism

Size of Thabeet, athleticism of Lebron, shooting skills of ray allen, play making skills of nash, intensity of garnett, determination of kobe, defense of battier...
