who r ur award winners this season???
mvp: lebron
ROY: curry
MIP: Chris Kaman or gerald wallace (stickin with kaman tho...
Defensive player: dwight howard
6th man: crawford
MVP- Lebron
ROY- Tyreke
MIP- Durant
Defensive player- Howard
Coach of the year- Scott Brooks
6th man- Crawford
MVP - Lebron (Who else?)
ROY - Evans AND Curry (Note 2 the NBA: There CAN be ties ya know! U guys owe Carmelo half a trophy!!)
MIP - Westbrook (Could easily be Durant. But how often do they give this award to a superstar who was EXPECTED to be a star in da first place?)
DPY - Howard (Artest a close 2nd i think)
6th MAN - Crawford (A good year for 6th men, but he's the best "vinny johnson" out of all the TOP teams. Sorry Al Harrington!)
i forgot about the tis. if curry continues to play like he has i say a tie. both plays have won 2 westernconference rookie of the months. actually if curry wins the next 2 i could see him winning rookie of the year
Yall do know that Evans has better stats in every thing except steals and his team has a better record than Currys. There is no way Curry deserves ROY over Tyreke. Sure he has been playing alot better lately but Tyreke has been playing good all year.
The only significant diff in stats are points, they are even in assist, .5-.6 diff in rebs...& are seperated by 2 games in wins. Curry is charging and simpley has looked more impressive for over 2 months now
It doesn't matter how much of a better record they have its still a better record. And even though Curry plays with Ellis he also plays for Don Nelson lol.
there is obviously a lot of debate for who should win the different awards, but as of right now, the mvp is hands down lebron. I'm sorry, but name one thing other then hit jumpers that durant does better at this point? He doesn't set up his teammates, defend, rebound or win on the same level lebron is at. That's not hating on durant, because i could see him finishing as high as number 2, but that is no reason to put him ahead of lebron. I think people just say that becasue lebron is the obvious answer and they want to be different.
And for rookie of the year, it is tyreke. Steph was not on tyrekes level the first 2 months and now that he is catching up, people wnat to act like the first half the season doesn't matter. Tyreke has been a beast from day one and should be number 1 on all ballots as of today.
i think its not out of the relm of possibility for curry top win it because roy award has gone to the player who peopel talk abou the most in the end. people tend to remember the most recent things instead of things in the beginning. kinda like college footbal where the team who isplaying the strongest at the end gets to go to the title game
My sleeper for most improved is Corey Brewer, I never thought he'd amount to anything in the NBA and he has improved his range and has shown he can be more than a good player in this league
When you compare their numbers, Durant isn't THAT far behind James. The biggest difference is in assists, which we know will always be the case since LeBron is a point forward and dominates the ball. Durant actually averages more rebounds than LeBron and isn't that far behind in steals and blocks. Durant is right there in field goal percentage, while shooting much better from three-point and the free-throw line.
The biggest difference is fourth quarter scoring and performance though, where LeBron is among the best in the league. Durant isn't there yet. All of his offensive statistics drop in the fourth quarter.
LeBron is clearly the MVP, but I think Durant is second and should be able to challenge LeBron in the future as his team improves, he gets better in the fourth quarter and gets better at making plays for his teammates.

MVP- Kevin Durant
ROY- Evans
Most improved player-Kevin Durant or Bogut
Defensive player of the year- Gerald Wallace or Dwight Howard
Coach of the year- Scott Brooks
6th man- Terry
