He's not a true PG, he

He's not a true PG, he doesn't get to the rim at an NBA level nor does he shoot as consistently as he needs to. He defends every now and then, which is not good enough. He's a solid college guard, but he's no NBA player at all.

Ive been a big fan of him

Ive been a big fan of him for a while and hes my one of favorite players in the country but i dont think he has it. He can provide you some scoring but like iggy said he wont be able to get to the hole in the nba, he can shoot pretty well but hes a combo guard and there was a reason he didnt start last year because of his lack of consistency or defense. He can be decent in the D-League or overseas though but not nba caliber. If there a player that deserves more attention in the Big East its Jamine ''Greedy'' Peterson.

I doubt you will remind us

I doubt you will remind us in June...You will most likely forget, as will everybody else.

Sosa is a decent college player, he had a fine game last night but if he had scored 14 points and handed out 4 assists like he usually does nobody would have mentioned anything. The guy played well on TV last night, thats about it.

He's playing for a down Lousville team who outside of Samuels, does not have any consistent scoring threats. Obviously Sosa is going to score more this year. On their team the last 2 years, the guy was virtually invisible and the only time I noticed him was when his name popped up on TV when they said Pitino wanted him to transfer.

Here's the problem from a

Here's the problem from a Sosa fan......For starters, he was overhyped coming out of high school in NY, where he teamed with Kelley, the K-State player who transferred from UCONN. Some scouts had Sosa ranked between #60-75. Others him at #35. He landed at LU as a pretty well reguarded recruit. He was an extremely good player as a sophomore (that's when I began to notice him) and it appeared he would take over his junior year, but he didn't. It was downhill after his second year. He along with Derrick Caracter, now of UTEP, often clahsed with Patino. So much so that he asked them both to transfer for different reasons. Caracter was lazy and Sosa only wanted to score and not pass. Patino has other guards he could have played this year, but stuck with Sosa for sticking with the program. Sosa is a good college player. I wouldn't mind seeing him drafted. He can play in the NBA. But he's a decent senior on a decent team. Call it bad timing or whaterver. If I had the choice of drafting a junior with potential, I would do so before taking Sosa.

Dhamp2...the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.
