Why isn't the Hawks doing anything?
Why isn't you mean why aren't becaz they have plenty of talent and where do you want to improve besides the bench and Crawford, Pachulia are good enough. Also the rotation will be shortened come playoff time anyway.
Good pt about Joe Johnson but they have plenty of pieces Josh Smith, Horford, Crawford and Bibby. This team needs to step it up in the playoffs and compete against the other 3 East Conf. power houses. They are stuck with Marvin Williams contract which sux, more than anything the team needs to stop playing 1 on 1. They need to get a pure PG like Nash and go from there in the offseason.
I think they should've tried to make a move for Marcus Camby. The only knock I have on them is they don't have enough length or size in the frontcourt.
I think your right. For as good as they are this season, I think they are more of a title contender next season when they have more experience. But they HAVE to resign Joe.
blazerfan7...what exactly has miami done? the only thing they've accomplished is making sure the entire world knows they want amar'e stoudemire
cleveland on the other hand has actually done something
Hawks really don't need to make a trade..They're loaded at every position..They should do their wheeling & dealing doing the summer..Becuz Unless they get a player that's better than Joe Johnson..The Hawks will always be stuck in the middle of the playoff hunt..They're never make the finals..They might get lucky and advance to the conference finals if Cle/Orl/Bos. have injuries or off their game....
yeah they could get a lil better in a trade but they dont have to make any moves. they are already good and get better every year plus they have young guys who are still getting better every year
but we dont know if the hawks arent trying?...we only know about miami because its been leaked. the hawks may have been tryin gto make deals but it wasnt leaked. there are alot of trades that are trying to get done that the public doesnt even know about

If they want to convince Joe Johnson to stay, shouldn't they try to make a move like what Miami and Cavs have done? No news in the ATL have them in any interest. We all know at best the Hawks are a 2nd round playoff team.
