Devin Ebanks

Everyone knows I am a WVU fan and I just thought of a comparison for Ebanks. Maybe its already beens said. But how about:

Ronnie Brewer??

Broke jumper, pretty good defender, pretty good ball handler, good athlete...

6'7 vs 6'9 with Ebanks being a little taller.. However, at Lebron's Skills Camp, Ebanks measured 6'7. IDK how true that was but even if he is a couple inches taller, he can be Ronnie Brewer from the 3....

What do you think??

Brewer is KINDA right

I think he's more Corey Brewer than Ronnie. Ronnie Brewer played PG most of his Senior year, and I don't think Ebanks is capable of that. He's not Brewer's level a passer or ball-handler. Ronnie Brewer is also ALOT stronger.

Corey Brewer was/is a below average ball handler, a mediocre shooter, a lockdown defender, and had the same long, skinny body.

Ebanks is a pretty good ball

Ebanks is a pretty good ball handler... He handles the ball all the time... He is not a great passer but he is okay. Honestly I think Brewer is a pretty damn good shooter.. He is a 36 percent shooter from 3... as apposed to Ebanks' 11 percent shooting... Brewer is 26 percent... Your 3 point champ shoots 36 percent from three for his career..

Ebanks

Hasn't impressed me that much. He passes the look test, and is pretty mobile, but if he measured 6'7 than he is 6'7. The potential is there with his build and athleticism but he has a ways to go, and I think he is a power forward, not a wing. He is a tweener to me right now, and raw, so I dont think he is a lottery pick this year and he should come back.

Corey Brewer WAS a lock down

Corey Brewer WAS a lock down defender. He isnt a lock down defender anymore. I like the Ronnie Brewer comparison...not a big name but a really nice role player. The only think missing with Ebanks is a jumper and the lack of assertiveness...I think another year would be huge for him, he could be the main dog on the WVU squad and improve that J...He's a really versatile prospect...he's capable of playing 4 positions in the NBA.

That is a great comparsion.

That is a great comparsion. He's somewhere between Batum, both Brewers, and Trevor Ariza. Batum was a great comparison though.

Doesnt Batum have a pretty

Doesnt Batum have a pretty sweet jumper... He is shooting like 37 percent for his career behind the line and the 10 games he played this year he was shooting around 40 percent.. Ebanks jumper is soo soo bad that it is hard to find a person to compare him to..
