If the pistons move where should they go

Personally i dont think they would ever leave detroit because they have one of the best crowds and toughest crowds (the fight when artest started swinging at fans after getting hit by a beer can is proof) in the nba and alot of history but if they do it would be nice for them to come up here to Seattle so i can watch them live and they better not go to Pittsburgh there are to good teams there that would overshadow them in penguins and steelers

i don't think there is any

i don't think there is any way they leave detroit. On an interesting note, the sports radios in sacramento were saying that the maloofs have already begun discussions with San Jose to move the kings there. It's still unlikely, but the maloofs have been looking for a new arena for about 6 years now and the citizens have zero interest in paying for one.

san jose is in the richest

san jose is in the richest county in all of california and the maloofs believe they can still keep a lot of the sacramento fans since it is only like a 2 hour drive away. Plus there is some group getting together and they have been talking with the maloofs about funding an arena. The maloofs have been patient with sac, but they want a new arena and the city has been loud and clear about not spending any tax money. The reason people don't hear about the kings leaving more is beacuase the maloofs and the NBA and Stern truly want to keep the kings in sac.

maybe due to the poor ecomony

Everyone knows that Detroit is the city that has been hit the hardest in this bad economy. I don't think they will move they just need to put a better product on the court and everything will be fine. Detroit has some of the best fans and will still fill the arena during this hard time. But cities that could use a team would either be St Louis, Pittsburgh, Kansas City or Seattle. I would also like to see the Clippers move to San Jose or Anaheim.

I grew up on Pistons

I grew up on Pistons basketball. I was born in 1989, so all I know about basketball in Michigan is Isaiah, Dumars, Laimbeer, Big Ben, and winning. The NBA would be crazy to move a franchise from a top-10 media market to Pittsburgh. Don't get me wrong, Pittsburgh supports their teams to the utmost degree (any city that has to cheer for the Pirates is dedicated), but to leech away a team like Oklahoma City did is not the way to do it. And as far as the Kings moving to San Jose, bad idea. Just make it easy on the Maloofs and move them to Vegas. The Clippers should just do everyone a favor and disband for the sake of the league and mankind in general.
