Your Expansion Team
I will use a 2k sports logic here. Trade away 3 future 2nd round pick for the top pick in the draft. Then I pick Anthony Davis and I still have that 3rd or 4th pick so I can get Harrison Barnes.
From this I have a stellar nucleus and I can hope to get some good shooters, rebounders, and defenders to surround them.
If I can, these would be my expansion picks:
Beaubois
Nick Young
Demarcus Cousins
Ramon Sessions
Redick
Korver
Ibaka
Greg Monroe
Dragic
James Jones
Korver
Faried
Yao
Miami Beasts would be team name
5 Guys Arena (Kind of like a better version of MSG)
Coach: Phil Jackson
Assisstants: Pat Riley, Spoelstra, Thibodeau, Marc Jackson, Frank Vogul
GM: MJ
colors: red, gold, silver, bronze, purple, brown, green, white, blue
Team is The Las Vegas Dicemen
Coach - Mike D'Antoni - the team will struggle but he'll play entertaining ball which the crowds will enjoy.
3rd pick - MKG - he'd be a good building block on the team and would bring leadership beyond his years.
33rd pick - Darius Miller - a team mate of MKG and so it helps to build a bond on a new team.
Roster based on players who are currently under contract - some may be FA's this summer.
Andre Blatche - the guy has issues but he may be one of the better players available and I don't think Washington protects him.
Raja Bell - reunites with Mike D'Antoni and becomes an assistant coach /player
Timofy Mozgov - with Denver needing to protect their younger players, I get my starting C here.
Eric Bledsoe- might be able to get him as a PG, again would fit the system.
Michael Redd - high character guy to be team captain and provide on court leadership as starting SG.
Jarrett Jack- veteran PG to help the younger Eric Bledsoe
Cole Aldrich - blue chip college guy does not get into the Thunder's rotation, I figure they would protect veterans like Nick Collinson over him.
Jared Jeffries - another D'Antoni favourite and can play a number of positions.
Xavier Henry - gets a chance to play major minutes around Redd at SG
Anthony Randolph - a favourite on this site gets to be a key rotation player.
Johnny Flynn - another young PG to compete for minutes
Hassan Whiteside - possible long term frontcourt prospect
Quentin Richardson - another SG option again a shooter
That is the maximum 15 man roster - Bell would not play much, Miller and Whiteside might be D-League giving a rough rotation of:-
PG - Jack/Flynn/Bledsoe
SG - Redd/Henry/Q-Rich
SF - MKG\Jeffries
PF - Blatche\Randolph
C - Mosgov/Aldrich
Ok, so yes I"M going to steal Five Guys Arena. That is like the happiest place on earth.

Marcus Camby- Great Defender and rebounder.
Jamal Crawford- 6th man
Larry Hughes- Great overall scorer.
Michael Finley- Great player on both sides of the ball.
