Why is Scottie Renyolds pick number 60?

I'm confused. In a weak PG draft, Scottie Reynolds just make it?

Probably the best PG in the Big East, good scorer, good passer, (I'm not a scout but) decent upside. Why isin't this man at least in the 40's?

At best maybe that NY 1st pick at 38 seeing NY wants a PG...

I can understand somewhat

I can understand somewhat about his low stock, but I think when draft time comes around and he shows up in March his stock will go up a little bit. I'm not that high on his upside..his athleticism, size and length aren't that great. He is more of SG still working on his PG skills. He has improved by leaps and bounds though in that term. He always has been a solid scorer ,the question most of the time could be whether he could keep the same scoring production and run a team efficiently and share the back court with other talented guards. I think he has proved that he can run a team the successfully. With qualities he lacks he makes it up with very intelligent and crafty plays. Seems like a very capable player and knows what to do within his own ramifications. My thing is I think he's one of those players that do very well in college but make very little noise in the NBA due to his lack of combination of size + athleticism. His highest ceiling probably reaches that of an average back-up PG. I wish for the best for him though hes a great player to watch, from my local area too. Saw him ball a couple times when we were both in HS, honestly I thought he was gonna be a solid player in college, not a star lol. I was wrong bout him once already so I could be wrong again ahaha.

He is low because he shoots

He is low because he shoots a low percentage and isn't a natural point. From what i've seen he isn't good at hitting spot up 3s which is kinda a big deal in the pros. He is low in the mock but i'm sure he will impress some team in a workout and get picked around 35.

no, he is low because he is

no, he is low because he is small, and doesnt have the length or athleticism to make up for it, which why is players similar in size but have better length AND/OR athleticism (kemba walker, sherron collins, even corey fisher) are projected to be drafted higher than reynolds. reynolds is on par in the quickness department, but other than that he isnt very physically gifted. he follows in the footsteps of players like eddie house, tony delk, etc. shooting guards trapped in a point guards body. i think he has the ability to be a better playmaker, but if not, how many players like house, delk (any small shooting point guard) actually have long nba careers in the nba now a days (besides house). dont say daniel gibson, because that dude can get UP, he had this dunk against the pacers a few seasons ago, and.. DAMN i dont think reynolds could ever pull off something like that in an nba game

i think its because last

i think its because last year the draft was full of pg and this year not too many teams need a pg because they got one last year. plus hes more of a sg at this point. i doubt it has anything with jumping high because not many pg come down and dunk on people all the time. as long as he can get his shot off it doesnt matter. the nba is full of good pg who dont dunk alot. terrell brandon, mike james, bj armstrong, chris duhon the list can go on and on and on

terell brandon and chris

terell brandon and chris duhon are way better passers/playmakers than reynolds can ever be. james, armstrong are good exampels tho but im not just talking about small pgs im talking about small pgs who all they really do is shoot

yeah they were after some

yeah they were after some time in the nba. duhon nor armstrong were the same players as college. college players are not finished products which alot of people dont seem to understand. they learn things while in the nba and they get better. they dont come in knowing everything
