Where are my Bulls fans at?

I am getting worried about these Amare rumors. I can't wait for the deadline to come and go without that move being made by the Bulls. In my opinion, and many others as I have read, Amare is overrated. He is all about getting his 20pts a game and never shows up on defense. This is not what the Bulls need. I think he would totally ruin the chemistry that they seem to have finally gotten together. This is clearly not a contending team but I think they are only a piece or two away from that.

Rose has turned into an agressive player overnight and is showing all of the early season doubters why he is so damn special. Taj was a steal of a pick and brings the intensity every night even dealing with plantar facitis (spellcheck). Noah has the heart of a lion and brings the energy like few else. Kirk may be a liabilty at times but that guy plays his ass off all the time as well. He also can run the point to free Rose up and plays tireless defense. Those four guys are keepers in my opinion because they play like winners and never, ever give up.

Tryus needs to go. He can't seem to get it together and Taj has pretty much stolen his minutes because he is more consistent. Tyrus is great one game then vanishes the next. They need to trade him while he still has value. Luol is a very good player but I wouldn't be upset to see him go if they got something in return that would help the team. He is a good spot up shooter but seems to leave me wanting more every game. I like the addition of Brown as someone who can score off the bench; Gray was just rotting on the bench anyway. John Salmons, adios!

I would love to see the Bulls get Bosh. Bosh, Noah, and Taj would be one hell of a frontline. Wade isn't coming, LeBron isn't coming. Imagine if they could swing both Bosh and somehow get Kevin Martin from the Kings. That would be a nice starting five with Kirk as the 6th man. Or instead of Martin they get a shot to draft Henry from Kansas. They could then just find some role players for the bench. They do have 20mil or so in cap room so it is possible.

Let me know what you would do if you were Gar Foreman and Pax

I'm a Bulls fan but I have a totally different opinion than you.

I want Hinrich traded asap.  He is overrated, overpaid, & he shoots bricks.

I want to keep Tyrus Thomas.  He still has WAY more upside than Taj Gibson. He is also the better player between the two.

Unfortunately the fact that a player plays hard doesn't make them a good player.

Take a look at the Bulls record this season..games with Tyrus playing & games without Tyrus playing.  It is clear Tyrus Thomas is a big part of this team.

I wouldn't mind seeing Salmons opt out but he won't.  He would be very hard to trade also.

Forget all the big name free agents.  Just make some small trades, re-sign Tyrus, continue to draft smart.  Keep the team chemistry alive & keep the team in solid financial shape.

Get a new coach too.

Upside...

How long are we supposed to wait for his upside? Cut the cord now and let him try and figure out what type of player he wants to be somewhere else. The past 5 games, in which they have won all on the road, Taj has been a huge part in that.

The Lakers are reportedly interested in Kirk because they see the intangibles he brings to the game. I like him coming off the bench rather than starting. Name me a better point who comes off the bench.

And they absolutely need to go after one of the big name players. Rose needs a stud to play with and they currently have no such player. Do you honestly think that they can win a title with some small moves? They will have the cap room so why not go for it? I think Bosh would fit in perfect with the curent team.

Go big or go home. Tyrus is an underachiever. Vinny does need to go though.

They should go after Wade.

They should go after Wade.  Getting Amare or Bosh would be a waste of cash. Neither one of them is going to make the Bulls a legit title contender.  Now if the Bulls can get Amare or Bosh by trading Hinrich, Salmons, Deng, Gibson etc.. I would be all for it.  I just don't think signing Bosh or Amare to a max deal would be smart.

Kirk Hinrich has been starting for the Bulls.  He doesn't need to be.

Tyrus Thomas is better than Taj Gibson.  Tyrus Thomas is more taletned than Taj Gibson. I don't care if Tyrus hasn't reached his potential.  He needs to be playing more minutes than Taj. Tyrus Thomas is also more efficient than Gibson.

Wade

Wade is not coming to the Bulls. Tyrus has more potential than Taj sure, but what good is it if it isn't being used. I am sick of that guy. He may be more efficient numbers wise but they play better with Taj on the floor, chemistry wise. What is it about Bosh that makes you think they couldn't contend with him? He is a big who can finish, pass, and shoots the ball very good. Noah would be able to eat up the glass inside and get putbacks while Bosh pulls the defense out to 8ft. I think it would be a very good team with the addition of Bosh. Tyrus is lost.

I think the Bulls should try

I think the Bulls should try to sign Carlos Boozer in the offseason. Rose with a guy to pass to as well as legit low post presence? He would be amazing.

Boozer

I like Boozer and think that would be good too except he is too injury prone. Too risky for a big contract.

Look at the supporting cast

Look at the supporting cast Toronto has for Bosh.  I don't consider Toronto a title contender.  Their supporting cast is almost as good as the Bulls really.  Bosh would certainly help but I think Chicago would still be a very good SG short of being a threat to win it all.

I just think Tyrus & the coach don't see eye to eye. Vinny doesn't know how to handle Tyrus's personality.  I really doubt the Bulls re-sign Thomas even though I think they should.  I am in the minority I know, I'm a fan of his.  From everything I hear & read it seems most Bulls fans are tired of Tyrus & want him traded.

Toronto doesn't have Rose.

Toronto doesn't have Rose. You need 2 stars to compete for a title. Bosh is a star who needs a new team.

I am done talking about Tyrus. I am from here, and yes, we all want him gone. 4 years is enough time to show what you can do.
