I saw this stat last night, he pulled down 27, and was pretty amazed. At the time when a lot of players games are dropping off significantly, Tim Duncan is playing just as steady as ever. I guess when you never relied on your athleticism, when it drops off a bit with age it doesn't seem to be as big of an issue. Half way through the season he is averaging 19.9 ppg 10.8 rpg and 1.9 blocks.

other HOF centers in the season they turned 34....pretty comparable numbers and pretty good company

Hakeem averaged 23ppg 9.2 rpg and 2.2 blocks
Kareem averaged 26.2 ppg 10.3 rpg and 2.9 blocks
Wilt averaged 20.7 ppg and 18.2 rpg
Patrick Ewing 22.4 ppg 10.7 rpg 2.4 blocks
Shaq 20 ppg 9.2 rpg 1.8 blocks
