Mid-Major Prospects... Legit or Fraud

Are these prospects from mid-major schools the real deal or are they simply overrated/overhyped?  Legit or Fraud          (L or F) is the the name of the game. Also explain why you think the way you do.  Are they likely lottery, 1st round, 2nd round, or undrafted picks?  All these players are projected to be 1st round picks whenever they declare!

Greg Smith (Fresno St.)-

Paul George (Fresno St.)-

Charles Garcia (Seattle)-

Hassan Whiteside (Marshall)-

Arnett Moultire (UTEP)-

First of all

Gonzaga is not a mid major school. If you ask anybody there a Major school. Harris is a 10-18 pick in this years draft cause he will be the next Gerald Wallace

Mid-Major to the majority of

Mid-Major to the majority of people means any conference not including the top 6 Power Conferences ( Pac 10, Big 10, ACC, Big East, SEC, Big 12)

Regardless, I don't care what you consider mid-major.  I just wanted some opinions on the prospects above.

fastforward- I haven't seen him as a projected 1st round pick anywhere yet so I didn't include him.  That certainly doesn't mean he isn't a good player.

Greg Smith (Fresno St.)-When

Greg Smith (Fresno St.)-When i watched fresno i barely noticed him, maybe i just saw a bad couple games Don't know

Paul George (Fresno St.)-Not near an allstar like he was said to be but mabye a 10 ppg guy off the bench Legit

Charles Garcia (Seattle)- Haven't seen him Dont' know

Armon Johnson (Nevada)-Has a good scoring mentallity but is a solid passer, a good backup or bad starter. Legit

Luke Babbit (Nevada)-Not that impressed, he can shoot but not much else. Fraud

Hassan Whiteside (Marshall)-I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right person but if this is a very big center then he is Legit.

Arnett Moultire (UTEP)- Haven't seen him. Dont' know

Elias Harris (Gonzaga)- Good college player but i haven't seen really good perimeter skills and don't think he will make it. Fraud.

Larry Sanders (VCU)-

Elliot Williams (Memphis)-

Artsiom Parakhouski (Radford)-

You should've put Gordon

You should've put Gordon Hayward from Butler on that list.

I went to their game vs Cleveland State a couple of days ago. He didn't have a good game, but it's not hard to see he's a legit NBA prospect. Steve Kerr was there to scout him. He's a legit 6' 8" and can do everything well. He reminds me of Mike Dunleavy.

Larry Sanders

Larry Sanders is legit. He's raw on the offensive side but this guy blocks shots like nobody's business!! He'll be a nice surprise in the NBA.

Yea... He's very good. He's

Yea... He's very good. He's one of those players who always makes the smart play. I came away impressed. He can shoot it or put it on the floor... Runs the point a lot. Very good court vision and makes the right pass. Moves well without the ball. Mid-range game. Post up. Not afraid to take it to the hoop. He's legit. He's only a sophomore and already has very good size. 6' 8" and about 200 lbs. He's cut up.

Greg Smith (Fresno

Greg Smith (Fresno St.)-Fraud. He's only a prospect because of his physical tools. Don't like him, he disappears and isn't very smart out there.

Paul George (Fresno St.)-Legit. Watch him develop into one of the better scorers in the NBA. He reminds me of Stephen Jackson and Danny Granger..More Jackson though.

Charles Garcia (Seattle)- Watched him the other night, he reminds me of Dominic McGuire. He needs to work on his shooting and ball handling though....I guess that's Legit. (?). I like McGuire and think he's underutilized though so maybe I'm biased...

Armon Johnson (Nevada)- Ramon Sessions 2.0. Legit.

Luke Babbit (Nevada)- He's a shooter, and he'll probably have a good career for someone as a Devean George type. Legit..

Hassan Whiteside (Marshall)- Fraud. He's seriously not that good. He's rebounding at a high level because he's got long arms and a good frame. He's not much of an NBA player to me though.

Arnett Moultire (UTEP)- Legit. I think he's a player. He reminds me of Andris Biedrins, but he actually can shoot 20 footers pretty well. I like him and expect him to be good in a few seasons.

Elias Harris (Gonzaga)- Gotta see him play.

Larry Sanders (VCU)- I used to think he was a fraud, but he's reminding me more and more of a present day Tyrus Thomas. And that's a solid player if your thinking too hard about it. Legit.

Elliot Williams (Memphis)- If you think he's going to be a Dahntay Jones, Legit. If you see him as a player that's other than a dunker and defensive specialist, Fraud.

Artsiom Parakhouski (Radford)- Gotta see him play.

Greg Smith (Fresno St.)-

Greg Smith (Fresno St.)- Fraud. Barley noticed when I saw him play. He made one dunk and that's the only real time I seen him

Paul George (Fresno St.)- Legit. I think he will be a very solid mid 1st rounder this year.

Charles Garcia (Seattle)- Legit. I think he's very good and has some very refined skills

Armon Johnson (Nevada)- Fraud. I think he might be overpicked because the lack of PG. He's a 2nd rounder to me this year

Luke Babbit (Nevada)- Legit. I think he has very good skills

Hassan Whiteside (Marshall)- Legit. He's a 2011 prospect, I think he can be a very good player next season.

Arnett Moultire (UTEP)- Fraud. Saw him play- He's a "I need the ball or I have no clue" guy

Elias Harris (Gonzaga)- Legit. Think Tyshaun Prince with Hops.

Larry Sanders (VCU)- 50/50- I like his game- I question weather it will translate to the NBA

Elliot Williams (Memphis)- Legit. Ima Duke Guy. He also needs to play some PG.

Artsiom Parakhouski (Radford)- WHO?

Gordon Hayward (Butler)- Legit- good NBA 7th man. At best? Mike D from Indiana

prospects

Greg Smith (Fresno St.)- As of now he is a fraud, but he has some tools to work with. Should stay for two more years.

Paul George (Fresno St.)- Legit, too athletically gifted and good of an offensive player to not carve out a niche in the league. Should stay one more year to refine all-around game.

Charles Garcia (Seattle)- Legit, could be very decent in the league. Haven't seen him play much, but I think he has a lot of potential as a scoring inside/outside player. He absoleutly needs to stay another year, though

Armon Johnson (Nevada)- I'm kind of on the fence with him. To me he just seems like a better scoring version of Jeremy Pargo, but I haven't really seen him play....

Luke Babbit (Nevada)- Legit. I like him. I think he will be a very solid player. Seems to have a lot of ability and is very tough. Kind of reminds me of a little less athletic version of Omri Casspi

Hassan Whiteside (Marshall)- Not sure. Haven't seen him play.

Arnett Moultire (UTEP)- Never seen him play

Elias Harris (Gonzaga)- Legit. The person with the 2nd most potential on this list in my opinion. He is just highly-skilled, multi faceted player whose game will definately translate to the NBA. He has great post moves and inside/outside skills with excellent athleticism. Could be a lottery pick if he waits.

Larry Sanders (VCU)- Legit. Obviously the person with the most potential on this list. With his length, athleticism and suprisingly soft touch, he reminds me of a pf version of JaVale Mcgee.

Elliot Williams (Memphis)- Legit. He may be the best player in this list right now. He has great athleticism and has a great iq. I like him as a left, too. He looks like with his mom's condition, he will be a four-year player at Memphis. He could be a lottery pick, though.

Artsiom Parakhouski (Radford)- Never seen him play. Know he racks up monster stats though.

Gordon Hayward (Butler)- Never seen him play.
