is Bosh a max player?

Is Bosh a max player? The raptors are definitely willing to sign him for the max starting at 17 a season but is he worth that? Bosh is a great player but he is a perfect sidekick on a championship team in my opinion. A team can sign two players at nine million instead of going after a max player. There is a lot of talk about him going to Miami but are they willing to spend that much on him? Who it not be better off for a team to grab two good players rather than one great one? especially when you already have a superstar in Wade in place.

My question is do you think Bosh is worth the max money and should miami sign him for that or sign 2 other players?

bosh

i think he deserves the max money because he puts up crazy numbers and he has improved his game and body every year in the league. He is a team first guy and low ego, but will put the team on his back if needed. I also think he will get max money because gms will see how important he is to a team. I dont really want Miami to sign, cause i am a raptors fan, so i hope he stays in Toronto. But if he doesnt resign, id like to see him go to his home state and sign with Houston, that would be a crazy team to watch..

bosh

I think a max player, but if you want to win sign a 9 mill. and add another 9 mill. Max players take up way to much on the pay roll. Dont be greedy be a team playa!

i think you will see less

i think you will see less guys getting max deals. It's a different economy right now and giving a guy a max deal will be less frequent then before. Atlanta offered Joe Johnson only 15 mill a year before this season started and i think bosh will probably get about the same. A max deal would pay bosh like 20 mill a season and i don't think he is worth that.

no he is not a max player

no he is not a max player but i could see him getting 14 or 15 though. The only guys that deserve max deals are Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Melo, Paul, and maybe soon Durant. Duncan is not a max player anymore neither is Shaq who both in their primes were just that. Gone are the days where Gm's could afford to just throw max contracts around. If you are not a superstar then you should not get a max. Superstar equals guy you would build your team around and brings it 90 to 95 percent of the time at close to the highest level. it Bosh played tougher than maybe but he does not and his D is suspect of late

arman, everyone around the

arman, everyone around the eague knows Rashard is way overpaid so that's a bad example. Bosh might get 20 mill from someone, but I personally don't see him as ever being the best player on a title team.

I think he will get about 16

I think he will get about 16 million a year. A max deal averages out to like 19-20 million a year. So I agree no max deal.

It really depends on what

It really depends on what the salary cap will be next season, but if it's $54 million... A max deal for Bosh would be $16.2 million (30 perecent of the salary cap).

I don't think Bosh is a max deal player... However I wouldn't be surprised if he got a max deal though.
