There has been a rumor that the Mavs would give up expiring contracts of Josh Howard and Erick Dampier for the Sixers Andre Iguodala and Samuel Dalembert fair trade?
I would love to see this happen for Dirk and the Mavericks.
very good for dallas, i dont no why philly wants to get rid of iggy (there has been several rumors), so its a very &$#%#&@! deal for the sixers.. i guess they can only have one AI on the team at once lol
I think with that trade, Dallas could contend with Los Angeles.
umm.. dampier doesnt have an expiring contract, pretty sure he has two years left on it, and its a worse contract than dalemberts..
but if the trade went down, dallas would have a stellar line up
6th Man- Terry
That would be a great trade...for Dallas. Awful trade for Philly. I think Iguodala is a bit over-hyped, but he would be a great second or 3rd option in Dallas. Dallas would easily be the second team in the West with that trade and would easily contend with LA out West.
Damps contract is non-guaranteed. He has to play a total of 2100minutes in order for his contract to be re-instated or else he will just walk.
Damiper has a team option on his deal in the final year...he can be decline seasons end.
o, didnt no what was up with his deal.. trade machine doesnt tell much haha
This trade is not fair at all. If philly accepts this, they will be worse then the Nets. YIKES. There has to be a lottery pick in their somewhere, or at least 2 1st round picks, one in 2010, and the other in 2011. But considering how good Dallas already is, their draft pick will not be that good, so bad news for philly. Considering all that, I'd be very surprised if this trade goes through. Any news on Booz, if he isn't traded soon, he will end up walking in the offseason. What about Iggy for Booz. That seems like a fair trade, the jazz get a true shooting guard, another high dunker, a smart player to play alongside D-will, and with Brand getting injured so many times, Booz would do wonders for this team. they have the same value, take a look.
so far theres no talk about boozer. the jazz seem to be turning down all offers while they figure out if they can compete for a title with him. youll probably hear alot more trade talk with them when the trade deadlin gets closer
There's nothing to figure out. The Jazz aren't winning a title, with or without Boozer. I doubt they'd turn down any serious offer for him.
they have already turned down a coupel serious offers. they arent gonan just give him away for nothing. even if they are or arent gonna win the title it makes no sense to do that
