I just read a quote by Lamar Odom where he said not only is kobe the best wing man, but if he was 6-2, he would be the best pg in the league. If he were 6-9, he would be the best pf. If he were 7-1, he would be the best center.
That was Lamar's quote. I'm curious, if you considered these two amazing players skills and compared them if they were a 6-2 pg or a 7-1 center, who would be better?
I put no stock into what Lamar Odoms' opinion because, obviously, he is on the same team as him...If he got traded to the Cavs tomorrow he would say LeBron was the best ever or if he went to Orl. he would say Howard was the best bigman ever..
To the question...LeBron would definitely be the best PG...He played pg his rookie year and wasn't half bad, he has amazing court vision too, Kobe would be a 6-2 combo guard, he still wouldn't be considered a pg. I do however think that Kobe would be the better C, because he has better footwork and post moves...
Yeah, mikenike summed it up
Lebron would be the better PG, he has amazing passing abilities, and has played PG before
Hell, even if Kobe was 5'5'', with his scoring ability...he'd be a combo guard anyway
As for Center, I say Kobe, better post player....but Lebron would be the better rebounder
Ok but are we factoring hin their body types like right now? because if lebron was 7'1 with his athletiscism only dwight howard would really be on par with him, and yeah kobe would have the better post moves so itd be a toss up if you look at it that way
interesting enough, I'm watching the laker/clipper game tonight and the clipper announcers were having this very same discusssion about if they were both 6-2 pg's and they said Kobe would be better and learn how to adapt his game better. I thought it was a conincidence since i just created this topic.
kobe would be the better point and lebron would be the better big man. Kobe however wouldn't be the best point if he was 6'2" nor would lebron be the best center at 7'1"
