Bottom 5 PG's

Im a big list guy, in class when i'm bored i'll make lists...any lists regarding the NBA

today i made this list (THIS IS CURRENT AS IN THE STARTERS RIGHT NOW)

Teams with the worst starting PG's

1. Indiana Earl Watson(-everyone knows he's an NBA backup..its not jim o'briens fault, TJ ford hasn't won the job outright with extremely inconsistent play...AJ Price is almost convincing me that hes the top option)

2. Miami Rafer Alston (-not the running mate that Wade needs to make a splash in the east...Chalmers has really been disappointing, Carlos Arroyo doesn't have much to offer on either side of the ball)

3. New York Chris Duhon (-duhon has picked up his play as of late but he's still a very bad shooter and his inconsistency is ridiculous...Toney Douglas/Nate Robinson are both better options IMO)

4. Memphis Mike Conley (-he has had plenty of chances, they even got rid of lowry to ensure he'd get the reins...he just has been extremely disappointing never developing a jumper or the ability to score in bunches)

5. LA Lakers Derek Fisher(-i know people may not agree because he's on a great team but hes averaging 7.2 ppg, 2.7 apg, and shooting 37% FG...he's a real tough defensive player but hes a HUGE liability on O)

honorable mention:
Portland-Andre Miller
Charlotte-Raymond Felton
Washington-Randy Foye
Golden State-Stephen Curry
Toronto-Jarrett Jack
Atlanta-Mike Bibby

i would say fisher is the

i would say fisher is the worst on that list. Alston is also bad as is Duhon. Those are the bottom 3 even worse then Watson who is playing solid this year.

lol conley made #4 but he

lol conley made #4 but he and jarret jack is playing neck to neck on the stat sheet, and if u actually watched conley play, u'd see he's playing within the system, shooting close to 40% from 3 averaging 10 pts 5 ast....those are decent numbers for a guy who rarely shoots and only got 1 spot shooter on the team, all the other players are usually in isolation, its hard to get assist that way, but to me conley has made a dramatic improvement

I think Fisher should get

I think Fisher should get more credit simply because he wins, I know thats not saying much with Kobe, Pau, Odom, and Bynum on your team, but hes in a system thats doesnt do well for PGs, and like i said...the guy is a winner

But 100%, those 5 would make decent backups, and as starters they're just horrid

As I said before the season,

As I said before the season, I think Shannon Brown deserves to be the Lakers starting PG. He provides everything Fisher does, except he actually has the athleticism to defend quick PG's and slash to the rim from time to time....

man, i give fisher mad props

man, i give fisher mad props for everything he has done with this team. He was very good in the past and to this day he has a certain level of calmness about him when games are on the line. He also is not afraid to lay someone out and get dirty if the situation calls for it. But man, have you seen him this year? No defense, isn't consistently hitting jumpers and now on top of it he is throwing some dumb rookie type passes and turning it over. Maybe in May and June he is better, but for an 82 game season, give me any of those other guys. Phil has always been a person of habit who plays his guys that he trusts so fisher will probably start until he is in a wheelchair, but the lakers are better with either farmar or brown on the court.

the only reason brown or

the only reason brown or farmar don't start is because they both tend to shoot early or over penetrate sometimes instead of just running the triangle and Phil hates that. But if you watch when brown or farmar get serious minutes, they put up starter type stats and bring it on defense.

Idk about this year, but

Idk about this year, but Derek Fisher has always had the ability to hit the 3 ball consistently.

Foye just got his chance to

Foye just got his chance to start and has been affected with injuries and inconsistent playing time. Now with the ball in his hands I think his numbers will improve significantly, he has a lot to prove and now has a great chance to prove that he was what we Wizard fans were expecting him to be. He may get solid numbers with this opportunity, but we gonna suck we even lost to the Pistons =(.

I always thought Raymond Felton was underrated he just has been overshadowed by his fellow draft mates Paul and D.Will. He's putting up very solid numbers this season. Finally shooting a high fg%, even though his scoring is down but thats cause S.Jackson arrived. I think a change of scenery would be good for him, unless the Bobcats add one or two more big pieces to this puzzle and I really hope they do.

I think Jarret Jack is a better PG than Calderon right now, Jack has been very efficient this season. He can score a decent amount also plays better defense and grabs more boards than Calderon. Calderon maybe be a better passer but, I think Jack brings more to the table.

Over the last month Miller's been playing very solid ball and seems more consistent. Imagine if he still had his big men to feed the ball too.

If you go by numbers Jason Kidd has not been putting up amazing numbers...but his team is playing excellent ball.

Jarrett Jack? No way, the

Jarrett Jack?
No way, the guy has been awesome as a starter.

I know you put him in honorable mention, but i think he's played well enough not to be mentioned.

Re: R-dot

If you put the list in perspective, Jack being on the honorable mentions list isn't all that ridiculous. Considering there are 30 starting point guards out there. The list has 11 guys on it. That means that Jack is in the bottom-third of starting PGs in the league. Do you legitimately think he's up to the level of an average starting PG?

as much as i really hate

as much as i really hate him, Derek Fisher's value is the fact that he doesn't need the ball to hurt you but he is effective with the ball. Also he is pretty damn clutch. Stats may say he sucks but he is a good fit for the Lakers and Kobe.

Also if the Lakers had a better point their would be no reason to watch, they would be close to unbeatable.

Couple of things about Honorable mentions

Curry? Watch the guy play he does everything, great scorer, GREAT passer and great court vison. He will be averaging 7-9 assits when he hits his peak and is 8th in the league in steals... Abdre Miller has played GREAT lately, and Foye has started a couple of games so ut's unfair to say he is there
