Griffin out for the year
what do you think this means for the clippers?
Curse of the Clippers
lol Clipper Curse!
Thats gotta suck, he was my original ROY, sad to these happen to him
Wow, Greg Oden and now Blake Griffin, 2 1st picks overall that missed there entire rookie season
Oh, and wasnt he suppose to make his debut on January 21st? What happened?
Not good, it's great to see the Clips still being competitive though.
Yes the Clippers are cursed............ BUT, this could turn out good. Chances were Chris Kaman was heading to the bench had Griffin been playing and he's posting 20 pts and 10 reb every night. Either Kaman or Marcus Camby, who is averaging about 12 rebounds, have a lot of trade value. Kaman would have never put up the slightly surprising numbers had Griffin been healthy.
Dhamp2....the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.
1. Wait and see, Willie Warren won't be drafted in the lottery.
2. There are roughly 250 NBA players, I picked Carmelo Anthony to lead the league in scoring. I could have chose any of the other 249 players, lol.
3. Matt Barnes is starting.
4.What the heck happened to Shawn Mario
5. Dhamp2 is the protagonist of this website...At least I bring excitment!
Some where in the world Michael Olawakandi is smiling
I think Blake would've helped them tremendously had he been healthy for their playoff run....I liked him for 15 ppg and 8 boards before the season. He looked dominant in Summer League...
Figures he's be out for the year, now they probably miss the playoffs but should land a good player in the 1st round.
Also this gives DeAndre Jordan more playing time thats about the only upside.
that sucks, Griffin looked absolutely amazing in the summer league and pre-season. Damn the Clippers for getting the first pick and cursing another promising talent haha. But on the real I hope he recovers well and doesn't turn out to be like Greg Oden, who is a shell of the player he was in high school and Ohio State
the clippers curse...i know clippers is pissed off
WOW... Does anybody remember the post I did about the dream I had a couple of months ago? I dreamed that the Clippers knew Blake Griffin would be out for the season... They just didn't announce it right away because they didn't want to kill the excitement, hurt their attendance, etc. This is crazy...
What does everyone think this does to his long term potential. Is a patella injury one that will be a problem for his career? Is that usually the case?
I don't really understand... His fracture wasn't the worst case scenario, which was the reason he was able to go the non-surgery route when it happened... Unlike Greg Oden. Oden's patella was completely broken across the middle, requiring immediate surgery. Griffin *should* come back close to 100 percent.
The Clippers are a complete mess though. Griffin apparently hurt his knee while doing rehab excercises... Jumping out of a damn pool... What was he doing jumping out of a pool? Did the try to push him back too fast? I mean, what happened? He was JUST doing fine. I wonder do the Clippers training/medical staff know what in the hell they're doing? Are they putting their players in the best position to both avoid/rehab injuries? Looking at the timeline since he first injured his knee during the summer until now... The whole situation smells fishy to me.
Blake Griffin is just one of the strong lines of unfortunate Clipper curse... Danny Manning and Michael Olowokandi are among the top of the list...LOL
