Why isnt Kentucky's Eric Bledsoe's name on any Mock Drafts?
i dont think he's better then scottie reynolds or sharron collins right now. i know he had that good game but there are other freshman who are playing just as well and putting up the same or better stats. the jacovn brown and avery bradley kid are the first that comes to mind. im sure alot of peopel are more high on him for this year then they should be because of his last game and they have seen him more on tv then some of the othersand he does have talent but theres a reason hes not on alot if any mocks and its because hes not ready yet. and the 3.1 asts to 3.5 turnovers doesnt help
bledsoe has waaaaaaaaay more pro skills than reynolds and collins..his turnover rating is p...becuz he's a natural point guard..and kentucky rarely plays half court ball..anyone turnover rating would be up if they ran all the time
no way he goes out this year.. He will be the star at UK next year and may be the top pg prospect next year if he improves a little. The talent is def there and he may be a top 10 pick next year. Wall and Cousins are the show this year and he will take over the reigns next year. This team is sooo dangerous and have to be a favorite right now to go to the final 4. Yes they are young but man are they lethal.
Bledsoe is a good player but next year he would have the opportunity to shoulder more offensive load. I think it would be a mistake to go to the NBA this year because he wouldnt be drafted that high. He could significantly improve his draft status by waiting a year. He may still declare, a handful of players make that mistake every year, but it would be a mistake based upon how high he could go next year. Another year with Coach Cal could benefit him as a player and help his draft status.
im willing to bet what ever that he wont be a lotto pick this summer. im still waiting on these nba scouts saying hes a lotto pick this year. or is it that you just think hes a lotto pick?
yeah he is good and underrated, no question about it that he needs to stay..just remember only one game without Wall, do you remember how good he was?!!
actually by some skills he really looks similar enough to Wall(offcourse not comparing them) so he has talent!
yeah that was against some low team. he is good but not nba ready. what makes him better then s.collins, scottie reynolds, avery bradley, jacoven brown. right now??
He's got to show that he can run an offense. He's played off the ball this year and with Wall gone after this year he'll get a chance to show his PG skills in 2010-2011. I think he should (and will) wait until after his Sophomore year..Where he'll probably be a lotto pick. I think he will show his PG skills next year, but he hasn't shown enough this year to be a legit candidate to declare as of now...
thats what i say. i mean i like his talent as well but you gotta be realistic. hes not een doing better then alot of other freshmen guards and 11pts 3ast 3 turnovers isnt something thats gonna get you in the lotto or first round as a point guard

Has he said he wasnt going pro in 2010? Because Nobody..No Where.. Have him in their mocks..Before the season started several observers said after Wall there wouldnt be any other point guards taken in the 1st round..Bledsoe & Wesley Johnson of Syracuse he has to be the 2 biggest surprise of the college basketball season...Nobody expected him to be this good so fast...Bledsoe has proved himself to be a star and the 2nd best point guard prospect in the country right behind his redhot teammate Wall....Even though Bledsoe's playing out of position at shooting guard..I think playing shooting guard will only enhance him at the next level..Its teaching him how to move without the ball ...He's extremely fast,a good outside shooter, has natural point guard skills and he's built like a mack truck..I think Bledsoe whenever he gets to the NBA ..He has the talent to be 1 of the league elite quarterbacks..Expect Bledsoe to be among the top 10 players selected next summer...........
