It's based on team needs, since I don't know if these teams will choose the best players available: http://www.nbadraft.net/nba_mock_drafts/25841/edit
Can you explain the Eddie Davis drop, please?
not sure if youve been watching kemba or kept up to date with him but hes not going that high. right now he will be lucky to go first round. and im baffled as well with ed davis dropping that low when hes actually been playing very well this year and was ranked higher even before he started playing very well
I see the teams that need a PF in the top 10 have better prospects with more upside, and the rest of the power forwards ahead of him have more offensive ability than him, and the teams I have them going to need that offensive ability more than they need a bench player, which is what I think Davis will be in the NBA...
Also I know that Kemba Walker hasn't been playing that good, but I do think that he'll step up come tourny time. And that he'll prove to be the 2nd best PG prospect in the 2010 draft. He has the ability to be a starter, or at worst a great backup PG...
My Bulls better not draft Paul George with the 10th pick.
I take it you aren't a fan of Larry Sanders haha
I highly doubt that the TWolves would draft Udoh over Ed Davis. I also really doubt that the Heat would draft Damion James over Ed Davis. Davis has too much length/upside to fall past the 10th pick. You have to remember Jordan Hill got picked 8th.
Overall nice mock
I disagree. I think that Eddie Davis has a remarkably good touch around the basket, which isn't totally indicative about his offensive potential, but is promising nonetheless. As a side note, he is scoring more than every power forward ahead of him in your mock with the exception of Patrick Patterson, and he is shooting a higher percentage than all of them. Worth mentioning.
davis will go wayyy before that thats one thing im certain of. nba teams seem to be in love with him and i like his potential more then a couple players before him. plus word from some of the writers on other sites hat talk to nba scouts say the nba was already not very high on kemba before this year and were high on the potential and now they are thinking he doesnt have the potenial that they thought. i think hes good but more of a back up good. i see davis starting years before favors does and ending up being a better pro.
It is worth mentioning, but I don't think that will be the case in the NBA...I will switch him and Epke Udoh, but I would be willing to bet that Udoh is the better NBA player. Udoh has a very similar skill set to Anthony Randolph...But that doesn't mean he'll get picked before Davis so I'll change that..
To me why the Kings would draft Devin Ebanks?
A defensive-minded hard worker with potential to grow alongside Reke.
But if they move Kevin Martin they should draft a catch-and-shoot type of player who fits their style of play. King fans might not like this, but Paul George seems like a good fit. Avery Bradley might fit nicely with Tyreke Evans, but Beno Udrich is already a PERFECT complement to Evans.
Wesley Johnson should be their first choice, but if he is unavailable, then they should take Paul George.
Edit: On second thought, I think the Kings really like Omri Casspi. Maybe they should just take a role-player who fits their style of play, and wouldn't mess up the chemistry. Jarvis Varnado, Damion James or Sherron Collins. (All might be a reach at wherever the Kings are picking, but will be solid players at the next level.
Jeez, that looks like a mock I would make....Thumbs up!!! The people who draft Kemba Walker and Paul George in the lottery would not be disappointed....
Imma post mine in 2 minutes..
can u tell me why detroit drafts a shooting guard and not a center
You see Dexter Pittman going #6?
Why do you have Larry Sanders in round 2. I am not a fan of him, but he is not going to go in round 2. Also, why do you have Indiana drafting Cole Aldrich when they're stacked in the front court.
Also, Ed Davis will be a lottery pick no matter what. Right now your draft looks average, but once guys declare and who stays it could look like a very good draft. Once we know who enters then it is much easier to make mocks.
