im watching this game inbetween wath heroes( yeah the show is great) and im wondering if kniks fans think durant is a very good defender and im guessing they would have to because to some gallo is a great offensive player. i do think gallo is a good offensive player although some what limited and that durant is a better defender then what some people think. the game isnt as close as i thought it was gonna be so ill probably turn to another game. durant is killing as expected. westbrook is doing his thing as well.
yeah im somewhat watching the game and it seems the knicks are just being what we expected... the knicks. They can't play defense and whenever they start to go out west it always seems like they get killed everytime.
I been on the fence with this one....
I think the Knicks need to explore trade ideas....alot of them. We need to look and add some players and chalk up this season. Were probably be 11th in the East so why not just look to load up and see if we can add some chips for 2010 and 2011.
We are in the playoff race making a trade would only hurt chemistry and make us 11th in the East. This team can and I think will make the playoffs if healthy. Cut it out with the trades talk. I would love to here your suggestions considering the Knicks have really no trade chips.
I have watched the game up until the 4th quarter, the fan in me is pissed. Gallo has not done well because he needs to build his frame a lot of his shots that he misses he does not put enough strength in, always hit of the front of the rim.
Durant is nice, he is so long that he can take advantage of almost every 3 on the defensive end. He makes some plays that make you go wow.
We have Wilson Chandler, Al Harrington, Jared Jefferies, Nate Robinson and David Lee as pieces.
I'm not saying making a monumental deal..Maybe see if we can move guys and maybe add a cheaper talent who can contribute, draft picks and or Cash
The only instance with the Knicks making a trade right now is to clear salary. They aren't looking to build toward next year until the offseason. The one guy that they desperately want to get rid of is Eddy Curry so they can clear up that cap space for the offseason but theyll just settle for expiring contracts in return they aren't looking to get even a marginal star right now.
We need a better point guard....watching Duhon run the point is sickening, but sadly hes our only point guard with point guard abilities...
Gallo needs to step up, no way should our future "Dirk" get ZERO points, in 31 minutes of gametime
Our starting point guard, and gallo combined for a horrible 0-for-15
future dirk?...lol..dirk diggler? cuz he will be good but i dont see him being as good as that guy in dallas. its good to dream high though
I hate the Gallo-Dirk Comparisons. I think they are different players. I think Gallo is unique because of his size and quickness, so I am not going to draw comparisons between the two both are very good players. One is the other will be.
Duhon needs to get the &$#%#&@! out of town ASAP! I rather see current Clyde run the point than him. I get tired of seeing Duhon drive to the bucket have an open layup, then pass it only see them miss the shot, he'll do that all game long. My only thing with with Gallo is hes too slow, he's a hell of a shooter we all know that. So when the Knicks are not shooting well his game suffers.
I prefer to see the Knicks go uptempo just run other teams out of the building, and when they have to play half court run it through Al or lee.
Gallo = Turkgolu
I dont like the Dirk comparison either, that explains the quotation marks, I was just putting it into perspective
And Duhon is horrible...i just gont get it, he averages 9 & 6 in 34 minutes, some backups do 9& 6 in half the time...
BJ Mullens playing his 2 straight game averaging 4 points in 6 mins, he has good range
bj mullens is just another player..not even worth mentioning
