I heard that the dude got cut from the Nets. He used to be an INCREDIBLE shot blocker in college, where he averaged around 4.5 a game. I believe that he was in the Rookie/Sophmore game as well. Do you think anyone should pick him up?
off the court problems and lazziness is what drove him out of the league.
He's a marginal NBA player because he's a liability on offense and the fact that he's bad for the locker room (from what I've heard). He's a great shot blocker, but he's got to show a better attitude.
maybe them at the minimum contract since they need big help off the bench
I am a New Jersey Nets fan (I know everybody laugh) but I have always seen glimpses of what he could be in the NBA. The guy is a great athlete at 611 but he lacks the drive to want to get better at all. He is a player who every once in a while will have a solid game and Net fans would finally think he was starting to come around. Then hed sit his ass on the bench for the next half dozen games. None the less I think he should be on some team that needs a shot blocker off the bench. If he can get his act together I think he can turn into a player like Cris Andersen but I just don't see him changing his aditude any time soon.
they could really use his size and development with ben wallace and kwame brown as centers
Lebron makes varejao look good and all he can do is draw charges and miss layup's. Sean Williams could instead block shots and end plays in a dunk. He is also kinda tall and long and could play a few minutes at center.
I always felt like he could contribute in the NBA, like a Camby or Tyson Chandler type player. Someone who you did not need to run an offensive set for a shot blocker great rebounder scoring mostly off of putbacks and allyes. That's if he wants it bad enough.
They couldnt wait to get rid of him. How Stupid the Gm was to even draft him. He Actually didnt finish his season with Boston College. He was thrown off the team!! He has more arrests than the Nets have wins!
He would be a great pickup for the knicks this offseason because they will not have much money to spend to fill out their roster if they sign a max contract. He runs the floor well and can be a defensive dynamo if he can stay out of foul trouble. I like him even a little more than Ty Thomas. I would love to see the Knicks get Camby back to finish out his career and mentor Williams.
