Here me out:
The Utah Jazz will have two top 20 picks in a stocked draft and Carlos Boozer's 12 exp contract.
They have a good guard rotation in Deron Williams, Wesley Matthews and Ronnie Brewer. AK47 will be a FA in 2011. CJ Miles and Paul Milsap have looked good as well.
Say that trade Boozer
Then 2010 come. You miss the playoffs ( probably, maybe) then you have NY and your own pick and maybe can add a combo of these guys
Cousins and Aldrich
Brackins and Cousins
Montiejuanas and Cousins
What do you think? I know it's kinda unlikely but thoughts?
That trade would not happen. So everything you said is moot. They won't be contending.
I have to call you a hater. You prob read the trade and quit there.
Adding 2 pretty good young players in the draft to
CJ Miles and Paul Milsap improving
Ronnie Brewer stepping up
Wesley Matthews year 2 and Deron Williams?
No I read your entire post. I just do not philly making that trade considering Igoudala is the face of the franchise and Speights is improving. Also, why would Philly want Boozer didn't they fail with elton brand??
i really don't see the jazz missing the playoffs this year. If they do adding 2 lotto picks, would be huge in this years draft. Also as a Jazz fan I would love that trade!
Why would Philly make that deal? To trade a proven all around player like AI, and a budding post player in Speights, would be crazy, for that to play out it will take more than just Boozer. You're already in rebuilding mode, how do you sell that to Philly fans? That's a good trade for 2K10.
Andre Iguadala might be dealt for McGrady.....
With Boozer, you add a 20-10 guy next to Brand.
Boozer's also a expiring contract.
Even if you do a Iggy-Boozer swap...still helps.
How are you in rebuilding mode w/ Brand making 120 plus mill over 5 years and Iggy make 80 for 5 years still on the team?
How does that trade help Philly? Cap space that's it. And the only big name FA they landed in years was Brand.
