E'Twaun Moore
We need a Tournament with the states high school players in a Final Four format. Until this happens nobody would know for sure. Now I know what the BCS has to go through each year lol
And I forgot to mention past players like George McGinnis, Scott Skiles, Billy Keller, Walter McCarty, Calbert Cheaney and Alan Henderson... You can even throw in Mike Woodson who was one helluva player at Indiana.
As far as current players in the NBA... We can't compete with that. I mean, we're talking about Durant and Melo. That puts you over the top right there. Those two guys are better than everybody else on our roster put together.
i understand being loyal but we both know if you werent from there you would not go with youre team over mine. and we cant go by how good we thought a college or hs player was because then anyone can just name highschool players from there state who everyone from there state would swear are the best players to never make it. the only things that are facts are who has more nba players. as far as who's better is a lil closer to facts even though its still opinion.
We got you by two...
Rodney Carney - Northwest High School
Mike Conley - Lawrence North High School
Eric Gordon - North Central High School
George Hill - Broad Ripple High School
Jared Jeffries - Bloomington North High School
Courtney Lee - Pike High School
Sean May - Bloomington North High School
Josh McRoberts - Carmel High School
Brad Miller - East Noble High School
Greg Oden - Lawrence North High School
Zach Randolph - Marion High School
Jeff Teague - Pike High School
because maryland and d.c is basically the same.. everyone knows that. maryland surrounds d.c...all of it should be maryland but d.c would rather stay a district.... good try though:)..
They're still two different states though, but I'll give it to you by one... That's like me adding in the players from Chicago, Illinois just because they're right on the border of Indiana. That'd put Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade on my list!
But MD/DC is the truth though... I was just looking at the list... A LOT of great players from that area. Walt Williams is from DC. So is Sidney Lowe and Eddie Jordan. Adrian Dantley. DerMarr Johnson... Sherman Douglas. Definitely a great basketball area.
oh lord...its always been d.c/maryland when people talk about basketball. thats how its always been. you dont have to agree with it but thats how its always been. any ball player from the area will tell you that. man you are really reaching so you can put inidana on top..lol
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&rlz=1R2DMUS_enUS355&q=map+of+d.c&oq=&u...
maryland surrounds it. if it makes you feel better to think of it that way then by all means go ahea. but all ball players know that maryland are included with d.c ball players and vice versa
Lol I gave you the credit dude by one. Both are great areas, especially when you consider our size.
CA, New York and Illinois all have had way more NBA players, but look at how big their states are. I think Indiana is ranked 16th in population.
and my favorite college player of all time happens to be a glen robinson. i actually wore his number in jr and hs because i thought he was the best basketball player ever..lol
Yea... My dad and I used to drive up to Lafyette to watch him play at Purdue. He was a monster. We, along with everybody else, thought he'd be the next great player in the NBA.
Not sure who is the next great DC area ballers are but if everything goes as planned we have a few goo HS ballers headed to college in the top 20 ranked nationally. This doesn't gaurantee that they'll go to the NBA but here's hoping.
He's an under-sized combo-guard like Joe Dumars with the same clutch and quiet demeanor.
If E'Twaun Moore improves and develops defensively, you never know. Assuming the Chicago Bulls draft him, I wouldn't be surprised to see this kid become Joe Dumars to Derrick Rose's Isiah Thomas, if you know what I mean. I see alot of similarities there.
hmm its hard to argue with that list ill try though

What is E'Twaun Moore's NBA ceiling and floor?
In my opinion...
His ceiling is Joe Dumars
His in between is Hersey Hawkins or Rodney Stuckey
His floor is Flip Murray
Feedback? If anything, those are good guys to model his game after.
he can be worst then flip..most if not all players floor can be worst then what people put. there floor could be ending up overseas, or out of basketball. joe forte, chris washburn, quintel woods and many others
It just seems to me that E'Twaun Moore has very good BASKETBALL INSTINCTS.
He's not the greatest athlete, but he knows how to play the game of basketball. He's a SMART and SKILLED PLAYER. That's a great combination for the next level. If he cranks up his defensive ability, he very well could be JOE DUMARS' good when he gets to the NBA.
I high suggest EVERYONE check out this game. There is probably 6 future pro's in this game.
PURDUE:
- E'Twaun Moore
- JaJuan Johnson
- Robbie Hummel
OHIO STATE:
- Evan Turner
- William Buford
- David Lighty
It should be exciting to watch. I can't wait.
He showed some nice defensive skills vs. Iowa the other day. I believe he had 3 steals and a few deflections. He's also got a 20+ game streak going where he has scored in double-figures.

That steal and breakaway dunk was smooth!!!
I would like to see Matt Painter put the ball in his hands at the PG position, much like Evan Turner is doing at OSU. I think that will help out his production and the team's overall success.
He is a really good decision-maker, who can knock down a jumper, drive it the hoop or make a pass to the right teammate. He just needs to have more control of the offensive flow.
He should be playing a TWO-MAN game with JaJuan Johnson with alot of GIVE and GO's going on.
With Hummel out due to injury, I think this would be a better lineup for Purdue.
PG - Moore
SG - Barlow
SF - Kramer
PF - Grant
C - Johnson
* Jackson, Hart and Bade as the 1st three off the bench.
Painter should put the ball in Moore's hands and let him make the decisions for this team. He's a good decision-maker, who can work off screens really well.
It would give him more options. He can pull up and take the jumper. He can work around a screen and drive it to the basket. He can pass the ball to an open teammate off a double-team. Or he can run alot of GIVE and GO's with Johnson.
Purdue should make this adjustment, if it wants to advance in the NCAA Tournament. Painter needs to take a page out of Ohio State's playbook. They moved Turner from the SG/SF position into a PG/Point Foward position, which has helped ET develop his game and made the Buckeyes a better team.
The best player on Purdue is E'Twaun Moore. He should be running the offense.
Although, my boy, E'Twaun Moore has put is name in the NBA Draft, I still believe he will go back to Purdue. I think it's a good idea for him to TEST the NBA waters and see where he stands. It can only help his development as a basketball player.
Now, if he decides to stay, then I certainly hope the Chicago Bulls draft him. I do believe his talents lay somewhere between Hersey Hawkins and Joe Dumars.
he's from about 10 minutes away from my house.....too bad he had to go to purdon't
