Elias Harris

If anyone is watching Espn U this guy is tearing it up. He has a mid range shot, free throw shots, transition dunks with fouls.

Harris is a solid college
Harris is a solid college player who will likely make a really nice European player. The NBA? Maybe. But he's a bit of a tweener in that he doesn't have the developed perimeter skills necessary to play on the wing, and he's definitely not nearly strong nor long enough to play in the post.

I disagree Adi_Joseph- I

I disagree Adi_Joseph- I think this guy has 1st round written all over him easily whenever he decides to declare.

Sure he could gain a little weight & get stronger, as well as continue to improve his ball handling. Ok, to be fair he does need to work on his passing skills too. When that is your main complaints for a Freshman than I think that is a very positive sign.I mean he is 6'7" 215. That isn't that small.  If anything I think he can eventually create some mismatches in the nba.

Gonzaga's schedule has been brutal.  They've already played Mich St., Colorado, Wisconsin, Cincy, Wash.St., Wake Forest, Duke, Oklahoma, Illinois, & Portland!  Elias Harris has already played against top notch college competition.  He has seen a variety of quality defenders.  He has performed great in the majority of these games.  Once again for a Freshman that is very impressive.

Look at the #'s this guy is putting up in only 28 minutes of play:

14 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, 58% FG, 46% 3 pt

Every time I've seen him play this year (about 5 times) I've come away with the feeling that this guy is going to continue to slowly rise up draft boards.

I would like to know what his wingspan is?

Much smaller than Gerald

Much smaller than Gerald Wallace. Don't believe the listed height. Just look at him when they play other teams with players listed at 6'7. He got towered over by guys on Illinois and Duke. I'm sure he has a nice wingspan , but so does everyone in the NBA. He plays hard, plays smart, and does a lot of things well. I think there is a good chance of him having some kind of career in the NBA. He can probably be like Sam Young, but not I REPEAT not Gerald Wallace.

BothTeamsPlayedHard- Yeah I
BothTeamsPlayedHard- Yeah I watched the Illionis game. The reason he was towered over is because Mike Davis is 6-9" haha.  Not that it even matters because Harris still managed to get 16 rebounds.   Once again against Duke he looked small because Duke has a TALL frontcourt.  All of Duke's post players are taller than Harris.  Zoubek 7-1, Thomas 6-8, Singler 6-8, Kelly 6-10, Plumlee Brothers are both 6-10.  Pretty sure Harris is every bit of 6-7".

It was not just Mike Davis

It was not just Mike Davis but also Dominique Keller who isn't exactly a giant. The Duke team doesn't have NBA bulk or athleticism, but they do have typical NBA length. Every time someone talks up Harris, I still remember Gonzaga getting run out of the gym by Duke looking more like a typical mid-major than a top 25 team. Harris was no different from the rest of them. I don't think the guy is a non-prospect, but Gerald Damn Wallace he is not. I don't care what he does against the Portland Pilots. They didn't have NBA length either. It isn't the kind of game that shows what he would be able to do against the kind of athletes he would face on the next level.
