John Wall vs. Derrick Rose vs. Russell Westbrook
They all have amazing athletisim, all three have great potential, who would you take in the future, or down the line?
Crazy as it seems- I'm taking Derrick Rose
I believe he needs a sidekick in order for us to see the real D-Rose. I hope they add someone like Evan Turner in the draft. Both can complement each other real well.
I believe D-Rose can be a 20point-10assist-2steal player in the NBA.
No one can guard Rose in the NBA. The dude is more athletic than both of them guys. Wall is just longer. Westbrook really don't have Wall and Rose pedigree when it comes to running a team. I think Rose and Durant would be too scary, so much that I'll have them going to the semifinals this year. Rose is just one them Chicago Lead Guards.
Im taking Rose also....Theres a lot of John Wall love out there, but Rose was doing it too his freshman year, Memphis just didnt get as many televised games as KU.....Rose is the most gifted of the bunch, but you wouldnt be bad with any of them
John Wall doesn't play for KU, so by that i know you don't watch college basketball.
Westbrook haha. Sure his shot needs more work then the other guys but Westbrook is a better slasher and rebounder then both those guys. If he works on his shot he could be really deadly.
Finally someone with some intelligence, Westbrook can't shoot as well as those guys but he is better than Rose and Wall is a great college player but hasn't made to the league yet (not that I think he'll be a draft bust). Westbrook is more explosive.
Tyreke Evans and Jennings in this conversation
I agree, I take Westbrook aswell.
Lets not get silly here, honestly Westbrook isn't even in Walls' and Roses' league...
Give me Derrick Rose. He has more potential than any point guard in the world not named CP3 or D-Will.
Why you guys like Derrick Rose so much. Really i have watched him play good once in the playoffs. To me I would rather have Jennings, or Evans over Rose. not to mention Westbrook
Why do you like Jennings, Evans and Westbrook so much?
You haven't watched enough of Rose if the last good game you saw him play was last season during the playoffs lol.
25+ has been regular for Rose lately...His scoring average has jumped 5 points from earlier this season....What's the big deal about Westbrook? Because, really, I don't see it... Rose has everything on him except a guy named Durant on his side...And Wall might be better than anyone in the NBA in a few years net to LeBron..
Derrick Rose... Enough said...
Is a better rebounding has more steals, plays better defense, has more assists and i feel is overall better then Rose. Now I have to say Rose is a better leader but he hasn't impressed me all that much for being so hyped.
Evans is way better then I expected and is really and i now feel he will be better then Rose even though he is not a pure point guard. And Jennings... man he can do a whole slew of damage
Westbrook is also a consistent below 40 percent shooter... Turnover prone... Out of control and makes poor decisions with the ball. He's more of a slasher than a point guard. Rose averaged more assists last season, while Westbrook averages more this season. I think it has more to do with each players' quality of teammates. Westbrook has Durant and Green. Rose has... John Salmons? Ben Gordon is in Detroit.
Everybody has their own opinion, but I don't think Jennings is better than Rose. I've yet to see him break somebody down off the dribble. 99% of his points come off the screen and roll. I haven't seen the finishing ability everyone says he has. His shooting has dropped off since the first month of the season. Jennings will be a very good player, but I don't think he'll be better than Rose.
As far as Evans goes... He's not a point guard.
Give me John Wall. I think he has the ability to be a Dwyane Wade type player...He's a speedy player and he's already super dominant, more so than Rose or Westbrook at the same stage of development, and he's more unpolished than Rose was at the same stage. Can't say the same thing about Westbrook, because he was very raw as a freshman at UCLA. The fact that he's better than Rose was at the same stage of development despite being less polished should tell you how much better he will get. Could be scary...
Westbrook is pretty good, but I don't think he's a better player than Rose is. Even though he does defend better and is more aggressive than Rose. But those are easily improvable things (I see them improving too), so I think Rose will always be better.
Because of the fact he is bigger, stronger, and is not afraid to get in the paint and rebound. His decision making has gotten dramatically better and he has slowed down. He showed up Rose last week, and you can't mention him being hurt because he has been back for a while now, and if he works on his shooting, we won't have this conversation again.
Westbrook isn't bigger or stronger than Rose lol. He may be a little taller, but that's about it. Rose is way stronger. It's not even close...
You can talk about Westbrook showing Rose up last week, but Rose showed him up every game before that lol. Did you forget about those? Westbrook was due for at least one good game vs Rose.
Westbrook is a better defender, but Rose's defense is improving. He's not a poor defender at all. Once he completely dedidcates himself to that end and becomes more aggressive, he'll be right behind Paul and Williams.
As for Wall... Idk yet. I'll have to see him in the NBA before I say anything. I think he'll be off the charts though.
As soon as the Bulls get a BEAST 2guard, thats when we'll c 18ppg 9ast D-rose. John Wall wont be a bad pick either
ill take westbrook. more potential and hes just learning the point guard position. he's in this conversation but unlike the other 2 he hasnt been a point guard all his life. and hes more athletic and a better defender
If both came out at the same time out of college, i'd take wall.
I do think Wall could have Derrick Rose's offense with Westbrook's defense.
I like a defensive/playmaker pg (westbrook, wall) more than a scoring pg.
BTW, it's really hurting me not to choose russ.
