Raptors have been much better as of late, but it has been against lesser competition but a win is a win. Only time will tell if Chris Bosh will walk or resign at the end of the season. Kings continue to say they want to try Martin and Evans in the same backcourt. Bulls really want another franchise player.
Toronto Receives- Tyrus Thomas, Taj Gibson, and Kevin Martin
Kings Receive- Kirk Hinrich, Derozan, Bulls 2010,2012 2nd round picks.
Bulls- Chris Bosh, Sergio Rodriguez
Bulls - They get Bosh. Enough said
Kings- Might not seem like its enough value for Kmart but when you consider his injury history and durability it seems okay to let him go and get another SG of the future and a a great mentor in Hinrich
Raptors- Only need to trade bosh if they know he wont resign. I dont think theyll find a better package for him. Thomas, Martin, Gibson is a ton of young talent
what do you guys think?
Toronto - They get good talent back for Bosh with Kevin Martin but who plays inside now for them?
Kings - If they like Hinrich then the trade works but otherwise theyre left with two 6-3 combo guards in Udrih and Hinrich who do the same things. I think they are better off waiting til the offseason to try and trade Martin in order to see how Martin and Evans play together. Personally I think they can.
Bulls - Love it. Bosh is worth the gamble and even if he doesnt resign they get rid of Hinrichs contract and have even more cap space this offseason for Wade and others.
well to chibulls, both thomas and gibson are power forwards who could take bosh's place, and they still have bargnani at center.
even with all the bosh trade talk, i dont think they will because they are a playoff team with him but probably not without, so why not make a playoff run with him and then hopefully he resigns, if not, you build around bargnani..
it seems good all around. the kings get a starting pg who defends and provides leadership as well as a young stud in derozan to help build for the future.
what it really comes down to is do the raps think bosh is leaving, if so then this trade looks solid for them and they add some good athletes.
chi get's bosh, nuff said.
Ty Thomas and Gibson dont bang down low. They shoot jump shots and space the floor thats it they are too small for the post. Bargnani is the same but bigger. He doesnt rebound at all. Unless the raptors want to turn into the suns it doesnt make sense.
why would toronto want to give up their best player that might not leave and their player with the most potential?
The latest rumour is that the Lakers are willing to trade Andrew Bynum for Chris Bosh before the trade deadline. Good move for both squad?
i just read that, and i dont see it working for either side. First off i dont see bosh fitting in with the lakers with him being the third option, of course they will win, but he probably wont stay around, so is it worth trading your young center to have a 3 month rental?
For Toronto i also dont like this trade. i dont think bynum wont be as good off the lakers..
this trade of bosh for bynum looks alot better for the raptors then getting kevin martin. you get a young good center to go along with having young derozen.and you have bargini who is better as a pf. man im liking that trade for my lakers and the raptors the morei think about it
