Scheyer thorougly outplaying #2 player in 2010 Mock Draft, so far.

Derrick Favors at the half of GA Tech Duke has 0 points . His is projected as the 2nd pick in the 2010 NBA Draft net mock draft. Jon Scheyer who isn't even worthy of honorable mention on this website's rankings has 13 points 4 assists and forced 5 turnovers with his incredibly slow footed, poor lateral quickness , non -NBA worthy defense. I'm apologize for being annoying. But the truth should not be annoying for those who have the courage to face it.

Scheyer is facing Shimpert

Scheyer is facing Shimpert who ranked 87th while Scheyer isn't ranked in the top 100 on this website. Scheyer is scorching ,schooling and playing lock down defense on this player who is ranked while Scheyer isn't . If Scheyer continues to be considered not worthy of ranking while Shrimpert and other players who could not carry his jock strap are ranked ,this website will lose credibility.

he doesnt seem to understand

he doesnt seem to understand the difference between college and the nba. just because a player is dominating in college doesnt mean they will go higher then a guy who has more nba ability but isnt putting up the same stats. stephen curry scored at will in college. more then evans but who is looking better in the nba?. i think scheyer is a draftable player but hes not a lotto player by any stretch of the imagination in my opinion

Yall dont get it just because u dominate in college dont mean u will in the nba JJ reddick and adam morrison dominated college ball now look at them they are struggling just to get playing time im not saying that schyer cant play but those player are rated higher because there game are suited for the nba and derrick favors play a differnt position so whay are u caomparing the two and favors is only 18 he nneds more experience schyer is 22 goin on 23

Exactly the NBA is a whole

Exactly the NBA is a whole nother level that Scheyer won't be ablt to compete as well at, if at all.

He is a good College Player but odds are against him and really how many guys go to the league from duke and do something? Lol not many.

Favors 7 points, Scheyer 25

Favors 7 points, Scheyer 25 pts 6 assists no turnovers.

These arguments are totally without logic or facts. Yes, college BB is not the NBA Duh. But games played by teams in the top 25 in NCAA basketball are the closest thing to the relationship of AAA leagues in baseball and MLB You jerks are saying with nothing to back up your statements someone who is one of the top 10 AAA players (Scheyer) has no chance to make any impact at all in MLB while someone who is doing much worse in AAA is a definite future HOFer. To back up your brainless statements , you mention past players who were very good in College BB (AAA) who never played in the majors(NBA) or didn't do well. To repeat to the concrete thinkers, Jon Scheyer is Jon Scheyer. He is not any of the players mentioned ad nauseam who were good college players who either didn't play in the NBA or had brief , forgettable careers.

In a NBA draft with Favors

In a NBA draft with Favors and Scheyer on the board. Who are you taking?

Scheyer may very well turn

Scheyer may very well turn out to be a solid role player, but that's where his potential ends, you at least have to admit that, and that's worth nothing more than a 2nd round pick.

Lol...so then going by that

Lol...so then going by that logic again, no one can disprove nor prove that Scheyer will be a good or terrible NBA player because nothing has happened yet.

But this is a website where we speculate and have our own opinions. And at the moment we're going by past paradigms where the majority of great college players could not transcend to the next level. Jon Scheyer may not be these players, but then we would have nothing to base our &$#%#&@! conclusions on.

Baseball is a terrible analogy to use btw.

to be fair no one really

to be fair no one really knows scheyers potential just like no one knows favors potential. its all a guessing game. neither has shown potential to be great. both have just shown potential to be good. you have to show something great a couple of times to be considered to have great potential. neither has shown anything close to hall of famer potential. its obvious that we would pick favors over scheyer now because hes 18. now if he was a sr or 22going on 23 it would be a different story but hes not so yeah she will be drafted over scheyer

i been begging for a scheyer

i been begging for a scheyer profile update atleast, scheyer is playing incredible ball, high assist low turnover, he's 6'5 and is very comfortable playing point which this is his first year dominating the ball, i wouldnt say a lottery pick but if he did wonders in my draft camp id take a chance on him late first round early second, and he is not jj reddick, jj has no point guard skills, and his handles are sub par, scheyer is a point guard, with a sweet stroke! jj was just a polific scorer
