detroit pistons...sad

Detroit has lost 11 straight games and these aren't necessarily close games either...they lost by 20 to the spurs, 17 to new york, 34 to toronto, etc. and the closest theyve been to a win was losing by 5 to dallas...i know that they suffered a lot of early season injuries but everyone is finally healthy and theyve still continued to get killed...now i know exactly what the problem is and its john kuester the worst coach in the NBA and one of the dumbest individuals in the business...instead of starting proven forward charlie villanueva, he is giving the starting PF spot to a combination of jonas jerebko (intriguing but better off the bench as rookie) and jason maxiell (no offense, tough defensive guy) and instead of starting chris wilcox who can give them solid production offensively at center he continues to go with the 35 year old ben wallace who's production is what youd expect (4 pts 9 rebs a game)...im sick of watching these guys lose...they have a lot of talent with stuckey, gordon, rip, prince, and villanueva...for some strange reason kuester cant win with these guys..

it disgusts me to see him still have a job and byron scott without one

Yeah, i gotta agree with

Yeah, i gotta agree with this, that coach is insane...

I watched that Knicks game, Villanueva had only about 14 minutes, Maxiell had no more than 7

And he had some ATROCIOUS lineups out there, the game against the Knicks BG, Rip, and Prince were all healthy, and for long stretches of time he would have the lineups of Stuckey, Atkins, Gordan, Jerekbo and Wallace out there....

I understand small ball, but thats rediculous...you cant win if you play that lineup for 5 minutes, let alone stretches of 7-11 minutes on the court

They do have lots of talent...Kuesters just not playing them...

pistons are poorly put

pistons are poorly put together. They overpaid rip and Gordon within a few months of each other and they play the same position. Stuckey is good. Charlie V is actually probably worth his contract, but he is also inconsistent and you don't want him being one of your top 2-3 players. They also have no post game from the bigs.

They need more size

They need more size man...They actually have a solid mix of offensive and defensive players, but they need more size than they have.

utah is over the cap and are

utah is over the cap and are looking forward to seeing booz leave so they save some money. As much as ben might help them, i don't see them taking back any long term deals for boozer.

kyle korver

makes around 5 mill. will throw him in as well, he also has an expiring contract. Jazz are just barely over the threshold of lucury tax after the matt harpring (6-7mill)maynor (1-2mill). trade for that never see the USA ,pathetic dumb draft pick of a foriegn player that will never see the great USA.

yes

as a pistons fan i have to agree we need to get rid of john keuster i think the reason he starts jerebko and maxiell cause it adds defense but we need more offense so put charlie v in the starting lineup maybe sign byron scott i think joe d doesnt want to fire him because they have gotten rid of alot of coaches the last couple years before contract ended flip, curry now kuester he would be paying alot of coaches that are not working for him look for them to start winning when tayshaun and rip and gordon get used to playing in games as a team

As much as it pains me to

As much as it pains me to say this, but my Pistons dropped the ball on the past offseason. To sign Little Ben to such a huge contract to get only offense and bad shots was a bad move. Villanueva hasn't been bad, but he hasn't set the world on fire either. Not moving Rip or Prince when they had some value was a bad choice too. And to top it off, John Kuester is a horrible coach, and that's putting it lightly. All Dumars had to do is pay Avery Johnson what he wanted, save the 55 mil from Gordon, trade Rip/Prince, and this would be a half decent team or a lottery bound mess. The fact that this team is lottery bound with this much talent is a reflection on Dumars and poor coaching. Only if we can land John Wall....
