No doubt, been surprising

No doubt, been surprising how well he is playing. He has come in with swagger and is using it to his advantage.

yes. And he is an

yes. And he is an interesting guy to watch. He has this passion about him which is unique. I've seen him jump up and down and clap his hands after making ft's. A breath of fresh air and a big reason why the kings are improved.

because i could name

because i could name numerous yuong guys who COULD be all-stars, let's wait and see. Casspi has a great jumper and is scrappy, but he doesn't blow you away with his ability to creat off the dribble and finish through contact. Also, he needs to work on setting up teammates and reading the court better instead of just looking straight at the rim. Add on the kings are a average team who are sneaking up on people and eventually teams will pay more attention to Casspi and stopping him and i say let's hold off on all-star talk.

You were the same guy who argued with me about Jeff Green being an all-star, you do realize they only give out 12 spots a year right?

he's just saying

He has the opportunity to be an all star caliber player......sometimes your good enough to make the all-star team but don't make it cause there are not enough spots.....ask Deron Williams.......

from what I've seen of casspi I'd put my money on him being all-star caliber one day......17-20ppg when he's in his prime...

more surprising??

who do you guys think is the bigger surprise on this team. Casspi or Evans? I was like wtf are the Kings doing with their draft drafting Evans so high as well as Casspi.. No one expected Evans to play like this, even me. I thought Evans was gonna be a bust...and wow I wrong. Casspi was drafted late in the 1st round and I really believed the Kings could of gotten a better player at that pick with other players like Blair, Buddinger, Mullens, and Summers. Of course most people may say Evans, but he had expectations to play like the 4th pick and he has surpassed them, but what about Casspi I really thought he wouldn't contribute much this season. Instead he has become an essential part on this team that is actually competitive..He is a very solid starter in this league already and has more room to grow...Can shoot the ball, play defense, and most importantly plays with intensity and heart.

Summer League

I watched the last Summer League and I wasn't impressed by what I saw... He was rusty and a bit out of shape who has gained weight but as the NBA season started he was a completely different player and was playing like a vet of 10 years... He has that passion in him that I do admire... I think Casspi could be Nocioni (when he was with Chicago minus the $36 Million Dollar contract)... He's a hard-nosed player and is very smart when making decisions...
