DID THE RAPTORS MAKE A MISTAKE IN SIGINING HEDO
im not making this post because im magic fan. hell i was happy when he left. we offer him a decent contract which i think was in the 30-40 million range. which is what he is worth. now the raptors offer him the most money . but so far he hasnt live up to his standards like he did in toronto. which i knew he wouldnt. so far when i have seen him play., he has look lost mot of the time, he doesnt look happy.hes averaging 13.5 which is the lowest since the 06 season he had with the magic.not only that. bosh maybe a better offensive player than d12. but dwight made turk better. because of all the double and triple teams he got. which made turk get to the lane alot, wide open shots.
yes they made a mistake. I think Hedo is worth 10 mill a year right now, but they gave him 5 years i believe so when he is 35 years old he will still be raking in money and i don't see him being worth it then.
otis smith knew hedo couldnt live up to no big contract for the next five years.
He was a huge mistake.
Hedo is truly a #3 option on a championship winning team. Paying him 10 mil was crazy
Funny- He made alot of big shots in his CONTRACT/OPT-OUT SEASON.
As a Raptor fan is a pain watching him sometimes play.... He is just jacking up shots and doesn't play solid defense.
I don't if its a Toronto thing.... but the Raptors always end up with offensive minded players and we never get what we really need which is hard nose defense, we just always end up with offensive machines who can't defend at all!
If his contract got smaller as time went on like kirk hinrich's did then signing him would have been fine. Why doesn't that happen more with older guys?
