Aldridge - best big man in draft

The GM's won't draft him higher, but Aldrich will be the best of the big men for the first 3 years. While the projects are taking shape - he'll be getting it done. His ceiling is lower, but it will take 3 years for the others to pan out.

I see him going on similar

I see him going on similar lines to Roy Hibbert. It will take him time to adjust but show flashes of potential in the first couple of years while he adjusts. A lot will depend on his showing at the combine in terms of speed, agility etc.

Less like Hibbert- more like Brook or Hawes

Basketball IQ - Post up game - face up game...not a franchise player - just part of a good team.

if hes more like brook then

if hes more like brook then he will be a allstar. whats very very funny is the same thing people say about cole is the same things people were saying about brook. and then those same people will now say...well brook coul ddo this or brook could do that. the same things brook could already do.when you are very skilled then you have very good upside and can contribute right away

if he can average a double

if he can average a double double and 2 blocks for his career i would say he is worth a top 5 pick. good center don't come around a lot.
i personally don't think he is going to be that good but thats just me.

Yeah, Aldrich will most

Yeah, Aldrich will most likely be a solid defensive presence to a team. I see him as a Joel Pryzbilla with more offense and fundamentals on offense. I think of him as a 13 and 10 guy with maybe 2-3 blocks per game when he hits his stride. He is also a great big man for starting fast breaks. He may lack top notch foot speed for a big, but he is one of the best outlet passers in the NCAA. In the Cal game alone I think I counted 3 fast break buckets that Aldrich started by launching a spot on outlet pass.

I see him as a Al Horford

I see him as a Al Horford type. About 10 ppg, 10 rebs, and about 2 blocks.

Me thinks he is like Andy

Me thinks he is like Andy Bynum, but won't have the luxury of being surrounded by Kobe, Pau, Ronny, Lamar, and Fish to get him so many easy points. He does have decent touch from outside, though, so he has that going for him. His ability to rebound, block shots, and control the paint is a certainty.
