Player | Ht | Wt | Pos | Team | Age

1. New Jersey | John Wall | 6-4 | 195 | PG | Kentucky | 19

clealy the best player in this draft class. even though the nets have harris who when healthy is all-star. they might cant pass up a great talented point guard like wall.
Edit
2. *Minnesota | Derrick Favors | 6-9 | 246 | PF | Georgia Tech | 18

i know i know. i hear people talking about favors should drop. i was one of them. but favors has alot of upside. plus the wolves can afford to wait on favors to develop.

3. Golden St. | Wesley Johnson | 6-7 | 205 | SG/SF | Syracuse | 22

At first i thought it would be dumb for them to draft another wing player. when they already have iggy and young. but adding johnson would be good for them. they need a big man as well. but johnson is too good to pass on.

4. Philadelphia | Donatas Motiejunas | 7-0 | 224 | PF | Lithuania | 19

the 76ers need size upfront so bad. Motiejunas is a skilled big man who can score anywhere on the court.

the reason i dont believe

the reason i dont believe minny should draft favors besides the fact hes not ready is that they are set down low with jefferson and love. love has shown he will be a allstar one day. maybe not year in and year out but he will be one. he is very very skilled on offense. nice jumper and a very very good rebounder. since favors is going off of potential i think golden state would be a good fit since it seems clear that randolph days there are numbered. but johnson wouldnt be a bad pick there either. i like the bucks pick alot. not so much utah pick since they have okur and illsap is there future starting power foward. on top of cousins attitude clashing with jerry sloan

Good job

IMO - The wolves are set at the 1, 4 & 5 and they should draft a cornerstone piece at the 2/3..like Xavier Henry. Unless they trade Rubio for a 2/3 and then they should take the next best bigman...i.e Favors.,,,,,.....What if they hit the Lotto with the 1 - don't they have to take Wall??? That would be funny!

Aldrich will be the best bigman for the first 3 years

The GM's won't draft him higher, but Aldrich will be the best of the big men for the first 3 years. While the projects are taking shape - he'll be getting it done. His ceiling is lower, but it will take 3 years for the others to pan out.

does anyone else here think dexter pittman will be a lottery pick like the guy who posted this because i don't. I think he is borderline 1st round at this point and pittman should be happy with that.

I think Pittman will be a

I think Pittman will be a borderline dominant player in the NBA. So yes, I do think he's worth a lotto pick..Who's going to be able move him off the post?

He is a late 20's to early

He is a late 20's to early second round pick, he doesn't have the potential to be much on an NBA level..... I agree trinajoe

I dont think there is any

I dont think there is any question of his heart hustle and dominance. But his heart and hustle will only get him so much in the NBA. And he is dominant in college where guys arent nearly as big and strong as they are in the NBA. He is definately not Shaq and I dont think he is even as talented as Eddy Curry was. I love this kids story and work ethic but I think his NBA ceiling is low and he is a David Harrison type player. Thats my opinion.

lol...we dont know if he has the potential or not because its potential. im not sure how anyone on here can say if someone doesnt have the potential to do something. especially on a player who has gotten better every year

It is hard to judge

It is hard to judge potential but that is part of scouting. Kwame Brown and Darko aren't top 2 picks without potential and professional scouts judged their potential wrong. So in my opinion, Pittman has the ceiling of a backup bigman on a mediocre team. Just look at the other big men that will be drafted. Favors, Motiejunas, Aldrich, Alabi. They can all move alot better than Pittiman. That is the direction of the NBA, mobile bigs. I really do like Pittman but when it comes to NBA talent I think he is lacking big time. Again its my opinion, and I respect everyone else and can't tell you he is going to be average in the NBA just argue why I think he will be average.

yeah and just like kwame and

yeah and just like kwame and darko thos same guys who are just potential could be bust. also nba scouts think he has potential and i think he has potential from watching him so that works for me. his post moves are better then all of them. hes more agressive and you look at where he was when he first came and where he is now that shows potential righ tthere on top of him not being in as good of shape as those other guys. i much rather have skills then potential because youre more set when you have skills but have a higher bust factor when all ou have is potential. i can see if players have been ot playing pittman but he punishes who ever hes matched up against. hes athletic big can score a good shot blocker and good defender

has been playing well for the longhorns. so yes he should be consider a top 15 pick. hell if larry sanders can consider for it. so should pittman.
