BOSTON has been dealing with injuries to Garnett & Pierce and lost 3 in a row..Pierce is back..But KG might be out another 2 weeks...And without him to anchor their defense they're not the same team....SPURS are 20-12 in the west..After they added Richard Jefferson everyone expected them to challenge the Lakers in the west..So far they havent put it all together yet....Injuries have had Duncan , Parker & Ginobili in & out of the lineup..They normally dont get it cranking until late in the season...DENVER started off great..Melo was named player of the month of november...Billups has missed the last 8 games and now Melo is nursing a bruised knee, they're 4-6 their last 10 games....Lebron & Varejao have been the only consistent players for Cleveland this year...CLEVELAND had won 7 straight including 11 in a row at home..until sunday's nite lost to Charlotte...They've been hard to figure out...They blowout The Lakers but lose to sub500 teams like Memphis & Charlotte...LAKERS own the league's best record but lost starting forward Artest to an injury...But they insert Lamar Odom and keep winning.. Dispite that xmas day beatdown from the Cavs ...Lakers are 8-2 in their last 10 games....Things are going as many predicted at the start of the season in the East..That Boston, Cleveland & Orlando would be the 3 best teams...Orlando is in 3rd place but have the talent to be number 1...Howard point totals are down from last season....And Nelson isnt playing like he was last season when he made the allstar team...Carter's playmaking has been underrated for years..and he gives them a go to guy in the 4th quarter..And inserting Barnes into the starting lineup has cause team matchup problems...If had to rank all 30 teams in the league it'll be.....
I think Memphis deserves some more love... not considering their record and that horrid 1-8 start, their playing better than the heat and utah right now, and probably houston... same thing with sactown... im not saying both will make the playoffs but definitely should rank them higher based on their recent games...
both charlotte and sacramento should be ahead of detroit...detroit is HORRIBLE
id say you can probably put memphis above portland but you have to take into account the whole season not just what a team is doing now. like if the lakers would have lost 3 in a row would you drop them to say 15 because the teams above them have won 3 in a row or something like that?
grizzlies at nine? they have played much better as of late but above suns, spurs, and jazz? cmon now
RIght now with Murphy hurt and other issues they are having, I think Indiana is the worst team in the league.
indiana is a huge dissapointment. I didn't think they would make the playoffs, but i thought they could be around .500 and be competitive. Injuries to key players and ford falling off the map have killed that team. I don't think they signed Earl Watson and Dahntay Jones to come in and takeover the squad.
