Top 5 PG's.
Rondo Def Would Not Be The Same Rondo From His Rookie Year, Rondo Despite A Jumpshot Is Still Top 5 PG's In The League, Just Because He Play's With 3 HOF's Means Nothing That Doesn't Take Away From What Rondo Can Do.
He's Been A Rebounding Machine Since His Days At Kentucky 17 Rebounds In A Game Against IOWA, He's Always Been Known For His Ball Hawking Defense, He's Always Been Quick, Fast, So I Don't Get What People Mean By The HOF's Statement.
so secco you just discount how rondo played with kg hurt or when they have had a couple of games where 2 out of the big three are hurt?...ive seen pg play with the celtic ,lakers, rockets and bulls title teams that didnt play as well as rondo but they had better over all talent around them. how come they did put up 9 ast a game?..or average a triple double in the playoffs?..man ya'll are really disrespecting his ability because of who he has around him.
have ya'll seen rondo when he wants to score he scores. how good do you think you have to be when everyone knows you cant shoot a three or mid range yet you still score just about everytime you put youre mind to it and the other team knows exactly where u want to go with the ball?
Him not being with the Big Three is only hypothetical because he is with them. Based on that and how he's played, he's the 6th best point guard to me.
IF he wasn't with the Big Three though... I don't think he'd be this effective. I think he'd be in the 10-15 range.
and hes played great with or with out them. hesbetter then rose in my opinion. only thing rose does better is score and you have to take into acount that he does that because he doesnt have othe rplayers who do much scoring. i take in accoutn everything you want out of a pg on top of that last year playoff match up where the teams were evenlly matched except that rondo was clearly the best overall player ont he floor. whcih shows when he has to he can put up the points that rose can and still lead his team to victory which i also take into account. he wasnt just part of that team he lead them to victory
I dont like calling them the "big three" because Rajon Rondo is not the 4th best player on that team .
You Just Do You Ima Do Me lol
Like Quincy Says Rondo Gets To The Lane Any Time He Wants With The Defense 50 Feet Away From Him Thats Absurd Man, There's No Stopping Him

rondo 13th best player int he playoffs. i always like this site because they break down every lil thing
With Kevin Garnett out for the playoffs, Rondo stepped his play up but continues to miss the spotlight. Two games into the playoffs, Rondo boasts a higher PER than any other player on the Celtics or the Chicago Bulls, including Ben Gordon. Thus far in the playoffs, he has scored more consistently than any other player on the Celtics, averaging 24 points-per-game compared to Allen's 17 and Pierce's 20.5. On top of his playoff scoring, he leads his team in rebounds, assists and steals.
Sure, Ray Allen's last second game winner and 28 point second half performance in Game 2 of the 2009 NBA playoffs were sensational, but who kept the Celtics in the running during Allen's 2 point first half? It took Ray Allen a game and a half to play anything but horrible basketball, but he still remains the hero on the front page of ESPN for the Celtics. Rajon Rondo was again slighted on ESPN's SportsCenter they exalted Allen's game winner, but called Kendrick Perkins the unsung hero of the game. Where is the mention of Rondo's outrageous triple-double (19 points, 16 assists, 12 rebounds and 5 steals)? Not to mention, Rondo opens up many shots for Allen as he penetrates and dishes.
Watch closely over the next few games as Rondo leads the Celtics and receives little credit for his efforts.

Early career he struggled and they won title same goes for Rondo he is better than Rose and eats Parker for breakfast since he came into the league. C's have owned the spurs who use to own them since adding Rondo
The Celtcis own the Spurs because Timmy gets shut down and without him getting 20 10 and demanding double teams they can't work.
it's would be like not having to double shaq from 2000 lakers, shootets would never be open.

Parker isn't better than Rose from two components: athletically and passing. His teardrop is too '06' year. I've never seen Nash make defensive play but Suns system is great for him.
