Want are the Sixers thinkin??????
lol, McGrady can definetly still provide 20ppg, i think your underestimating him...
well... yea ur rite, but iggy who is i think is better rite now,is younger, and more athetic, provides more to a team than tmac. wood u trade iggy for tmac. if im houston i want this trade no matter wat lol
I get a kick out of people making it like T-Mac is 35 and can't play. He's only 30.
The reports out of Chicago this summer were impressive regarding his rehab, etc. I'm pretty sure that once he starts playing and gets his legs under him, he'll be a very good player. He probably won't have the same athleticism, but he can still shoot, handle the ball, pass and rebound.
ok true, im sure he did good in the summer, but wood u trade iggy 4 tmac??? if tmac is so ready to play now, y dont the rockets want his mintues up from like 10 mpg. tmac is still a good player, but iggy rite now is better
I would make the trade, your right Iggy is better than Iguodala, but if they did make the trade, the Sixers wouldnt be getting complete garbage
i agree tezo alot of people are under estimating him. at the same time i think some are over estimating him with the 20ppg scoring because they might not fully understand what type of injury he had. this injury is not a walk in the part and it takes a year in a half to fully recover from something like this even when youre in youre prime. the fact that hes never been know as the hardest working guy might hurt him as far as getting back near to what he use to be as well. as far as the trade theres a couple ways you can look at it. philly isnt going anywhere. iggy isnt gonna lead them anywhere with that team. they have alot of money to be paid to brand. tmac would give them cap room for next season. in away i look at it like the grizz and paul gasol situation. philly is stuck in a position where they wont get much better or much worst
woodnt tht be a log jam at pf 4 or 5 houston tho. cuz they got landry, scola, hayes, david anderson, and if brand comes, mintues will be hard to get, or he will just play 5
houston wouldnt take brand because of that reason but the sixers would try to get them to do it im sure. if brand had a expiring contract then they probably would think about it but as it is now i dont see it happening
Whut puzzles me is why they wanna add T-mac when they already have Iverson? The 76'ers dont know which direction to go..Thats like a blind man asking another blind man to help him cross the street......why not play out the season and hope to draft Wall?
RUDE BOY is rite, like i said in my description, the sixer gm is dumb enought to bring a guy who is on the down fall of his career, tmac and iverson is like hell! i knw the contract is nice cuz it will expire, but if i houston, i want iggy, if im philly, i want nuthin to do with tmac
they want tmac for that tastey contract..lol..thats alot of money coming off the books if they get him. expiring contracts are very good looking most years but this year for sure because of the great free agent summer
The Sixers just need to be patient. They have quite a few players who's contracts are expiring next season. They should wait until then and try to deal those players to teams looking to shed salary.
I mean, the Sixers are over the cap right now, but they're NOT paying any luxury tax. The luxury tax threshold is $69,920,000 and they're salary is at $63,349,460 right now.
They need to ride this out.
they probably wont get a 1st level star but they will get the left overs because some players will want money more then winning a title. just like the knicks will get someone even though they wont be a title contender either.
yea clyde glide is rite, cuz lou willimas rlly isnt a PG, and iggy looks better at the 3, and if they get wall, he can be there startin 1, and iverson...... who knws lol
epic typo on my last post..
i meant i WOULDNT make the trade
just for clarity..
Who knows what kind of player TMac is anymore, he hasn't played enough in recent years. And I think Iggy is just a player that has to be a number one option because they have no one else. I think Iggy is a better player, but suspect that in the Sixers offense TMac could still score 20 because he would have to. He would get all the shots he wants. More or less, he would be a product of the system, similar to what Iggy is in an offensive aspect.
Like who?
And if the Bulls are going to match T-Mac's salary, Deng or Hinrich would have to be in the deal... And I don't think Houston would want either one of them.
well, they got iverson can still run ok, iggy, young, dalembert is a real moblie big man. jason smith can run the floor, lou williams is a great athetle, green can shoot, so he can fit in the run n gun system, kapano wood also fit, carney is good athetle, and can shoot 3s. they got runnin team all over them lol
they have brad miller with a large contract too
Here's a deal hold on:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ylhr4kx
Someone's giving up cash, picks but I dunno who yet...
I thnk the 76ers are making a samrt move cuz by getting rid od Iggy and Brand they'll have enough money to bring in 2 stars. Ther also getting more money with Dalembert's expiring contract.

Ok, I understand T-Mac is a good player and all, but why him out of all players. He's not a 25 PPG guy anymore, or even a 20PPG guy either. And Iggy rite now is levels above T-Mac. It just shows the dumbassness of some GM's these days. T-Mac for Iggy?? C'mon!!! 20PPG vs. like 3 or 4PPG
Whatt yall Think???
