i think the kings should draft Avery Bradley
he will make a great backcourt alongside evans and Casspi , on offense Evans will play the lead guard while Bradley will play the two, on defense Bradley will guard the PG!!
they have Jason Thompson at the four so all they need to do after that is to trade Martin for a center!
To be honest, I dont think anybody should draft Avery Bradley at this point, coming into the season Bradley had been one of my favorite freshman, but he has been a huge disappointment to me....right now he is nothing but a Bruce Bowen in the sense that hes only in there for his defensive abilities, but on offense he was been way to inconsistent, last night he went 0/8 from the field against TAMU-CC, playing 23 minutes, and only getting 3 points.
I think he should stay another year, next year without Pittman and James he'll have a much bigger role, were he'll have to be able to score the ball effectively in order for the Longhorns to win games.
Anywho, back to your point about Avery and the Kings, I really like that idea, Evans, Bradley, Casspi, and Thompson, thats a young core, with a nice defensive focus
Was ranked very highly due to his defense. He has tons of upside with length and athleticism but is still raw on offense. He will develop into a good offensive player I think. He isn't relied upon by his team to score because Texas has so many scoring options. I think he's a lockdown defender at the next level with room to grow on offense. He's a great prospects
I think he should be a 2011 prospect as well Magikknick. He's basically an undersized defensive specialist right now. He should return for his Sophomore year, where he'd be looked upon to lead the Texas team. Similar to the role Willie Warren has this season for Oklahoma..
from what you guys are saying, it sounds like he's a lindsey hunter
I would compare him to a young Royal Ivey right now, but of course, he has the potential to be much more than that it appears..
you are dissappointed in bradley?..why?..hes played very well. youre expectations were obviously wayy to high because he wasnt expected to come in and pull a john wall he was expected to do exactly what hes been doing. have you seen texas depth at guard or the way they play?..hes not suppossed to score alot of points he is suppossed to just compliment pittman and james. he shouldnt come out after this year but to me that was never gonna be a big option.. liek i said some of ya'll put the expectations bar too high
hes need another yr of college ball, he can be a superstar if he gets more polished
i agree.. i see his career going the path of russell westbrook
i prefer brandon knight on 2011 draft. knight can shoot outside. knight/evans back court combo was scary
i think bradley is overated
well lets see. knight does everything hes doing against hs players so i dont think anyone knows how good hes gonna be on the college level yet. what makes bradley overrated?..do you just look at stats or watch his games?..he has a killer mid range, nice deep ball, great defense, and scores double figures on the deepest team in america. is it because hes not scoring alot of points?..thats not texas offense?...now if youre talking about some mock drafts overrating him by putting him at number 10 then yes but as far as his game hes not overrate. other then some fans what media or nba scout overrates him?
bradley last 3 games
3 pts 0-8 fg (YUCK), 2 reb, 2 ast.... 23 minutes
7 pts 3-12 fg (AW), 3 reb, 2 ast..... 22 minutes
9 pts 4-7 fg (NICE), 3 reb, 4 ast ..... 29 minutes
WATCH OUT TO BRANDON KNIGHT NEXT YEAR IN KU
not really seeing youre point. is he a good player...hell yea. is he ready to play in the nba ..nope
im curious as to why you didnt pick the last 4 game?? or the last 7 games? was it to try to prove a point but leave out some of the evidence to prove it?..like say if im averaging 1ppg but the last 3 games i had under double figures but the game before the three i had 30? or before that 20?..or 15 before that?
You guys realize the things being said about Bradley in this thread are VERY similar to the Westbrook predraft opinions...
as far as texas freshmen is concern, im more impressed to JORDAN HAMILTON
i want favors or cousins in SACTOWN then on 2011 i want knight as kings pg...... sacramento needs big player in 2010 draft
im more impressed with jordan and cousins then underachieving favors
I think Hamilton has a bunch of offensive potential, but Bradley is more impressive this season than him. Hamilton will be a Von Wafer type of player, which means he'll be a physically gifted, offensive SG...
i really like jordans game. i think he has a much better upside then von. hes athletic a very nice jumper strong and is 6'7-6'8 hes a good defender but not on the level of bradley. this kid has lottery potential offensively and i cant say that about wafer when he was in college
