A couple things that look bad but could really be blessings in disguise.
Blazers IR - With all of these younger players getting big minutes, this could make them even deeper come playoff time. I know nobody is going to replace Oden but the emergence of Bayless and guys like Cunningham getting minutes could help ease the loss of him. Come playoff time, the Blazers could end up being a 5-7 seed and could really surprise a top tier team once they get healthy... All of these injuries could be a blessing in disguise.
Rockets IR - With Yao and T-Mac not around to run the show, these young players have shown that they, together, can lead this franchise. They have some players that were thought to be role players, step up and be very good starters.
wow good pts man, but the injuirs to the blazers can hurt playoff position
didnt u read what he said? He said theyd have to settle for the 5-7 range in seeding but if fully healthy we all know they can give any1 a run for their money
yeah i knw, but u cant gareentee even a 5-7 seed with all the injuies they have
You can't guarantee it with the injuries, but you can guarantee it with the way their role players have stepped up into the spotlight to help out Roy and Aldridge
That is true but in the West it will be a dog fight just to get in but i will say all this is helping shape the Portland team for next year and maybe this sound crazy but Oden may not be the right fit for them and they should trade him for a number one and young promising small forward. OKC could give them Jeff Green and 2 number ones for Oden.
Don't say that...we better not give up Green haha. Oden has been obviously riddled with injuries his whole career, but the owner (GM, something...I can't remember) doesn't like giving up young talent, so I don't see an Oden trade coming anytime soon
getting durant and oden on the same team? Thats not even fair lol.
