The Suns are known 4 tradin draft picks, and that has cost them i think
They have drafted Deng in 04, traded him to bulls. Drafted Nate Robinson, traded him to Knicks, Drafted Gortat, traded him to magic, drafted rudy fernandez, traded him to blazers, drafted rondo, traded him to celtics.
i rlly wonder how good this team coodve been if they kept all the pieces together!
That's almost a Starting Lineup.
PG - Rondo
SG - Fernandez
SF - Deng
PF - AMARE :D
C - Gortat
6th Man - Robinson.
haha, Rudy would've shined in that run and gun system and Rondo too....but I think they are fine...they still doing their thing
ur rite, but they woodve been contending wit the lakers now i think if they kept them all along
...Rudy? Nate? Rondo? Deng? & Gortat?
I doubt it...
That means you got 3 Guards who are suppose to play Point. Then Rudy would fit in Nicely. Deng...I think Hill is better believe it or not. Plus they got a nice backup in the young Earl Clark.
& Gortat is not better then Frye right now. He's young and plays somewhat like Robin Lopez, a little better offensively, but either way he is a backup. He could've developed better, but I doubt it.
Actually they would not have been better but they would have a more promisiing future and have a cheaper team. also Rudy can make some point guard like play because right now Nash does not have a true bk up and have not for years.
rondo would have helped a lot for the future and rudy would have fit in well but would eliminate need for j rich
This may not be a complete history of what Sarver's done to ruin the future of Phoenix by giving away multiple number one draft choices, but it's pretty close. In 2004-05 I didn't know which player was selected. For example, in 2004 they had the 7th choice in the draft and gave it away. Who was that player [Deng?] and/or the others below I don't know?
One thing I'm sure we can say with confidence, Phoenix gave away more number one draft choices than any other team in the league since Robert Sarver bought the team in 2004.
Traded the 7th pick in the draft for a future draft choice
Traded the 16th pick in the draft to Utah
Traded the 21st choice in the draft to the NY Knicks
Traded the 21st choice in the draft, who was Rajon Rondo, to Boston
Traded the 27th choice in the draft, who was Sergio Rodriguez, to Portland.
Traded the draft rights for Rudy Fernandez to Portland
