Whoa... Stoudemire? That's

Whoa... Stoudemire? That's too much lol. If we just stick to being able to shoot from 20 feet like Stoudemire, then sure. Nothing else though.

He just got hung lol. That's embarrassing. Cousins got hung not too long ago too... He's not explosive at all.

I don't see Z-Bo in him at

I don't see Z-Bo in him at all. Z-Bo was so much more skilled around the basket and he had a higher offensive IQ. Cousins is a power player with a low IQ.

i do hope cousins doesnt

i do hope cousins doesnt decide to go to the draft. he's good but just isnt ready. one more year and i think he could come in and start. he comes out now hes looking at a year of splinters because nothing he does really translates to the nba right now. hes a good rebounder but its more from his size then actually boxing anyone out. but i be damn if the potential isnt there

i agree tezo83 that

i agree tezo83 that patterson isnt his clone but they have a similar game. patterson is more aggresive on the boards tho. i think with a good work ethic he could be as good as STAT

as good as stats???..i mean

as good as stats???..i mean anything is possible but i dont see that in him. my opinion is he could be as good as david lee. and i think lee is good but not as good as his stats show with the knicks because of the coaches style and because the team isnt that good. lee on a good team is a third option hortford production player

and i agree wit you quincy.

and i agree wit you quincy. cousins should stay but i doubt it. randolph left after his freshman year i believe..don't quote me on that tho and they almost are playing the same way but randolphs post game was far superior than cousins

What about a Cousins/Bynum

What about a Cousins/Bynum comparison?  Or maybe even a Cousins/Horford comparison?

I see Cousins as a Center in the NBA so I was trying to find a close comparison.  I haven't watched Bynum much at all this season.

I saw Horford play his Freshman year at Florida in person & I have also watched Cousins in person once this season.  Horford was more impressive as a Freshman by a little.  Horford wasn't relied on as much though like Cousins is in his 1st year in college.

i also though about Bynum

i also thought about Bynum comparsons but he isn't ready to be comparing with him...

i'm not overrating Cousins but i'm against ppl who underrating him lol...he decisions and post game sometimes looks bad enough to be 1 rounder but when he uses his strength and when he is not lazy to defend he is something little dominant! i really think next season he could be huge and go very high in the draft, he and Bledsoe could be next season's booom because no they are just in Wall's and Patt's shadows.

horford plays more aggresive

horford plays more aggresive than cousins. and i don't see bynum in cousins game. cousins can shoot from the perimeter if he wanted too but calipari isn't having that. cousins is a good offensive big guy which is why he reminds me of zach randolph. the nba will allow him to show it. he just needs to up his bball iq and become more aggresive consistently

Cousins reminds me of Al Horford.

Patterson reminds me of David Lee.

First of all, the reason Cousins was getting chippy was because they were already jawing at him in the tunnel during the run out plus he got kneed in the head going for the loose ball.

And Clyde-Glide, did I just hear you say Jennings and Samuels should have no trouble against our (UK's) frontcourt? Wow. Cousins and Orton may be pretty slow on their feet, but they are both defensive forces, and Patterson is a warrior inside. You won't get anything, ANYTHING easy on him.

Btw, I like the comparisons of Patrick to David Lee. Never thought about that one..

My late synopsis of the game

That was an ugly, ugly first half of basketball. You had DeMarcus Cousins testing out his new Muay Thai moves, brick after brick after brick after brick after missed shot, and to top it off, U.K looked like they were gonna break away at any second. I was ready to play some Modern Warfare 2. UNTIL....

The 2nd half began, which was obviously a much better half of basketball. John Wall looked like he was still playing against a bunch of slow-footed high schoolers at times, and I love the way he took over when his team needed him the most. I think Patrick Patterson is gonna be a steal in the NBA if falls below the 20th pick. He's more athletic than he looks (and he looks like a pretty good athlete), he's a tenacious defender and rebounder, and he just finds ways to put the ball in the basket. Swopshire tried his best to keep Louisville in the game by hitting a few outside shots, but his teammates literally threw the game away.

On another note, I don't like what Rick Pitino has done to Edgar Sosa. I watched multiple Rice games while he was in high school, and the dude was a flat-out scorer. He went to Louisville to try and become a true point guard, thereby enhancing his NBA stock, but he just never had it in him. Both Pitino and Sosa should have seen the obvious by the end of his sophomore year, but instead kept trying to force him to play out of position. Sure, he's only 6'2 at the most, but if he added a little bit of muscle and continued to work on his outside shot, who knows?
