Nate "THE GREAT" ROBINSON

he messed up ATL today. he should be in the knicks future and the way dantoni traded him was horrible. he is one of the best 6th man with all the emotion in the world and scoring talent to match. he proved he has great character during the games he did not play, oh and does dantoni know this is we love nate?

build around nate? nate is a

build around nate? nate is a one man show. he wasnt playing team basketball and was only worried about getting himself a fat contract next year so he wanted to post great numbers. Dantoni preaches team basketball and nate wasnt listening so he got benched

not around him

i think nate can help him win with being a 6th man for them. and go check the stats for this game. he had 8 dimes and i thnk 6 rebs but again its only one game if he continues to be a factor on d and distribute watch out

the knicks are only letting

the knicks are only letting him play because his trade value was next to nothing. nate has always had skill, there is no question about that, but like i said. he isnt a team player and most definitely isnt a building block for the future

nice game back for him,

nice game back for him, he'll be back on the rotation giving them more of a spark off the bench. But he has to be more aggressive and consistent on defense unlike before, which caused him to get benched. Otherwise today was a great day for him and I can't believe a guy that size against a good team and hasn't played in 14 games put up those numbers and carried the team to a victory in OT.

Nate

Nate has a lot of skill. He may not be a superstar or even an all star player, but he's more capable than putting up 20 or more pts on any given night, a change of scenery will help, he needs a team will leadership and a winning mentality. But the problem is that teams like that are probably not wanting him

nate

nate's a good sparkplug off the bench a la leandro barbosa...he could get you 12-15 off the bench similar to how will bynum does in detroit

yea, but dude, i think nate

yea, but dude, i think nate is a better scorer and player than barbosa, much more than 12-15 pts, he can be like a ben gordon if he had motivation and added size. Nate is always betta off the bench

Nate = JR Smith, of the

Nate = JR Smith, of the bench spark...mainly will go for 14-17, but can also light you up for 40 any given night....

Thats a real good pt.

Thats a real good pt. Players like gordon, smith, robinson, they need motivation to consistently be 14-17 point scoreres each nite, J.R. got a good team, so he gtta put his all, nate either cares 4 a lil bit, or doesnt 4 a long time. He needs to be traded

The performance he had

The performance he had tonight reminded me a lot of the type of nights Nick Van Exel would have when he was a Dallas Maverick. Nate was driving in the lane and scoring at will. He was definitely in the zone. But this can only help Nate, because if the Knicks keep him, then it will be looked at as a bad decision not to play him, and his trade value has skyrocketed after tonight for sure. So if some team does decide to take a chance on him, they may have to give up a nice piece or some draft picks.

I think he averaged about18

I think he averaged about18 a game last year, and almost won 6th man of the year... how does that make his trade stock next to nothing?

it makes it next to nothing

it makes it next to nothing because he could have left last year but stayed him and david lee

nobody was interested the losing teams should have been the above 500 teams didnt want to mess up there winning forumlas plus money was tight

plus this year missing 14 games while you already play for the knicks dont help things ppl were talking about the shot he took on the nets the arguments with curry, randoplh and other players and mike d have another starbury on his hands because the realtionship the knicks have with there players except for danilo is thin knowing that walsh and mike d will do whatever to cash in 2010 and 2011 to get the knicks where they want them to be we both know players like jared jefferies might not have and nba job once hes traded or becomes a free agent and players like duhon will get bench dutys

but I read a article about nate a while back on espn or nba.com he can be in a block buster trade with players like boozer
this year or if he waits for the summer to come because hes a great player on a good contract

teams need his kind of scoring cough* cough* memphis

because the teams with offense of the bench and in other untis beside the starting go to the playoff and some bench players are x factors that can be nightmare

boston,portland,denver,LA,atlanta, the texas 2,the suns,magic,

This was as big a comeback

This was as big a comeback from a player as you could ask for. He definitely showed NYC what they were missing for benching him for that long....

PG of the future???

If Nate could learn how to pass the ball and create for his teammates he could be the PG that the Knicks need. No one can stop him off the dribble and he shoots a high percentage from 3. He is everything that Duhon isn't Athletic, explosive, great shooter, but also selfish and immature. If he can get his head right and be a team player he can be a major chip moving forward and help lure a free agent.
