Who's better: delonte west or mo williams?
Delonte is better in my opinion. Mo Williams is good, but very very overrated. Mo Williams gets more offensive touches than West from being the point guard and I think West could be just as effective offensively- given he gets the kind of touches Williams gets. Williams is also a very poor defender while West does a really good job on anyone from a point guard to a small forward. Mo Williams should not have made the all-star team last year....
Mo Williams is more consistant to me but I think West have more upside and is a better defender.
West is a good offensive player, but I don't think he's just as good as an offensive player as Mo. Delonte is a good shooter, but Mo is even better. Mo is the more aggressive and confident offensive player... He's also more consistent and has been throughout his career. Even if you compare their careers before joining Cleveland, Mo was the better and more consistent offensive player.
West is more of a combo guard, while I think Mo has more point guard instincts and playmaking ability. Mo also has more leadership ability and is more vocal. That's the reason they brought him to Cleveland.
Mo isn't as good as defender as Delonte, but he's not a poor defender at all. Delonte is stronger and more athletic. He's the more versatile defender... He can guard three positions. I think Delonte is the tougher and more hard nosed player.
Not taking anything away from Delonte because he's a very good player, but if I had to choose... I'm going with Mo.
its clearly mo williams...he's the more confident and talented player however i feel its a tragedy that delonte isnt starting at 2-guard for the cavs

my friend thinks it's mo and i think it's delonte.
basically my reasoning is delonte plays D and is just as good offensively
chris webber said that if lebron is batman for the cavs, then delonte is definitely the robin of this team
