Mid-Major players to keep an eye

Armon Johnson Nevada Jr. Guard
Charles Garcia Seattle Jr. F/C
Art Parakhouski Radford Sr. C
Denzel Bowles James Madison Jr. F (transferred from Texas A&M)
Ryan Wittman Cornell Sr. F
Jeremy Lin Harvard Sr. G
Charles Jenkins Hofstra Jr. G
Darington Hobson New Mexico Jr. G/F
Kenneth Faried Morehead State Jr. F
Omar Samhan St.Mary's Sr. C
T.J. Robinson Long Beach State Soph. F
Edwin Ubiles Siena Sr. G
Ronald Moore Siena Sr. G

Mention others I missed. Too often we see guys who played in Mid-Major Conferences burst onto the NBA scene and everyone is like where the hell did he come from. A lot of the guys I have mentioned have NBA talent w/o a doubt. I am not here to argue why I think these guys are I just want to see mid-major players getting more respect.

Siena is a well coached

Siena is a well coached squad, and has some great players. I forgot to mention Larry Sanders Jr. VCU F, though he gets enough talk on this board.

Edwin Ubiles is my guy

Edwin Ubiles is my guy man...He's an interesting prospect. I like his size and athleticism. I also think that people should watch out for (you heard it here 1st) Osiris Eldridge at Illinois State. I watched him play agaisnt Kansas State last year in the NIT, talk about a hidden gem. He has a very sweet jumper, and he's a breath taking athlete...He reminds me alot of Tony Allen, with a better spot-up jump shot.

Keith benson

When he played against Kansas, he outplayed aldrich. He blocked his first couple shots and threw aldrich off his rythm. He had a lot of athleticism and upside.

mid major

Parakhouski is a very intruiging prospect. I think he can be pretty decent in the NBA.

PAUL GEORGE

Come on! Where's Paul George-Fresno State? He's one of the best scorers in the nation. Is Fresno State in the Pac 10 all of a sudden?

The best 2 mid-major
The best 2 mid-major prospects I've seen so far are #1 Arnett Moultrie, #2 Jerome Jordan.

Paul George already gets a bunch of love on this site, everyone is bringing up sleepers from the mid-majors...That's why he hasn't been mentioned..

Gordon Hayward

A very smooth, athletic guy at Butler University. Kind of in the Hedo Turkoglu mold but with more athleticism, with solid point forward skills and very good range, but he can also get to the basket and rebound.

Butler is right around the corner from my crib... Hayward is a talent, but is definitely a four year player.
