any one watching this game on espn2?...dyson is doing work and lance is getting to the line at will..dyson has 14 and lance has 13 at half time. it seems as th season goes along lance is starting to play more and more better. and im not just talking about scoring im talking about from watching him and his decision making and court awareness intensity and leadership
Yeah I've been watching this game and the UNC game as well...Lance is looking fantastic. He is going to be a real good NBA player. His stock is increasing every game...Big fan of Lance. Dyson is looking really good as well.
yeah same here. not watching the unc game though because i figure its gonna be a blowout. i know a couple people on here arent fans of lance, and one guys who completely things he's wayy overrated , but this kid has enough handles to get where he wants to go and is strong and a better athlete then what people give him credit for. he reminds me of evans. not saying hes as good as evans because evans is playing well in the nba and lance is doing what hes doing against college players but his game is power with very good handles and smarts. and his confidence is very very high which is a plus
did you just see that crossover lance put on that dude then the jumper!!!!!!! damn his handles is sick
sick crossover, then the fadeaway jumper, Lance has got some skills
Another thing I love about Stephenson is his competitiveness, you always see him react to a play, you always see him yelling at the refs and his teammates, you gotta think it &$#%#&@! them of sometimes, but his desire to win games has got to be appreciated
last second tied game lance has the ball and draws the foul..if he makes one free throw game over
What a terrible foul call....kid is completely out of control, both edwards and oriakhi get clean blocks stephenson gets beat, this better not be a foul
Home court call
Terrible call to end a great game....it's a shame this game isn't going to OT
Dude, Dyson clearly fouled Lance before that and the refs didn't call it...That was a make up call...And I'm not even sure if those blocks were clean in the first place.
Lance Stephenson is that deal...
lance stephenson is great don't know why he has such a bad reputation
Yeah, but why didn't UConn foul earlier, they could had about 7 or 8 seconds left...if they fouled before that dunk...
Big 3 point shot by Walker to tie it anyway
I would of liked to se that game go into OT
I've read a little on lance and his percieved baggage. I think there were some character questionmarks and some
eligability questionmarks going in to the season. That's part of the reason he didn't have many college programs pursuing him towards the end of his senior season. I read an article about a hs game where Lincoln was blowing out another team and lance had 40 points maybe more. Towards the end of the game the coach took lance out to give the subs some playing time and lance's dad took exception to this. He started cussing the coach out for pulling lance out of the game. I guess lance has gotten alot of this sort of negative attention for a while. As far as what I've seen today from lance I'm very impressed. He showed off a nice jumper and hit a couple of midrange banks. He drove hard to the hoop and took contact well. I was really surprised by his ballhandling ability. He looked like he had the handles of a pg. I think he should get more billing as an NBA draftee and if he keeps playing like he did tonight he looks like a possible lottery pick. I think at the very least he should be a bubble first rounder. On another note his ability to drive and take contact mixed with his size and strength remind me alot of reke and his jumpshot might be even better. I like what I see from this guy
I truly believe is going to be great, but should not jump after 1 season. before today's game he shot 60% at the line and 20% from behind the arc. Also, I hear so much about his slashing abilities which I have seen, but his 7 attempts at the line are his best so far this season. If his ability to slash is so great he should be getting to the line consistently. A lot of great slashers are in the college game who settle for jumpers when they can draw fouls and score a lot more points for there respective teams. We as fans have no reason, but to believe that the college game can be a lot more scoring involved.
actually it wasnt eligability question marks there was a case going on and colleges wanted to see what was gonna happen wit it. and from the angle espn showed it didnt look like a foul but an angle from the other side shows he was hit on the wrist by the second big man. the african kid. and knicks you have to watch more games. if you did then youd know he slashes alot and then kicks it out to vaughn or that othr guy hence not alot of free throws as well as he stops and shoots the midrange instead of slashing all the way too the hop where the bigs are
Quincey, will be watching a lot more of Lance. Have to in order to be on the same level as you guys.
Was that sarcasm lol?
To an extent. Quincey knows his stuff, so I don't want that to be interpreted as disrespecting his basketball knowledge.
lol...thats cuz i watch every game of certain players via espn,espn2,espn u nbatv, tnt and online:) and ill give a honest opinion about these college players instead of continue to say how good they are if they havn't really done awhole lot
