LAKERS VS SUNS..HERE WE GO AGAIN

once again my lake show seems to have decided they dont need to play hard and the suns are bowing them out. for some reason they just feel they dont need to play hard every game all the time. even with the loss we still have the best record in the nba but as a laker fan im not just happy with that. i want maximum effort every game not just when it counts the most in the playoffs. i watch boston adn i see them lose but they give effort the whole time and dont beat there selves then i watch the lakeshow and see how kobe goes all out but everyone else goes hard for a lil while and then coast. and the winning hides the fact that we need different players on our bench. i think fisher needs to be moved there and brown or farmar moved to the starting line up. artest didnt play again and even though his numbers arent the best he is a very big part of this team with his effort defense and intensity. next up is the clippers and i will lose my mind if we lose to them bums. i truley hope we blow them out

Reality check....Clippers

Reality check....Clippers aren't bums, buddy.....Oh,andweren't you the one who said the Cavs weren't that good because they went to OT with the Kings? Yea, so I guess the Lakers aren't that good either, right?

Wow, great game from a Suns

Wow, great game from a Suns fan point of view. Did anyone else realize how smart of a player Jared Dudley is? He pinned Andrew Bynumand they called a jumpball. I was like "nice block but he'll win the tip". Dudley then let Bynum tip it back as if he knew he couldn't win it. He then went around Bynum and caught the tip! I would have never thought of that. Great heads up play by dudley. One of the smartest plays I've seen on a bball court in years.

haha, Qhodges, r u having

haha, Qhodges, r u having fun eating the buffet of crow? first u say the cavs will get blown out because they went to OT with the kings, then those same cavs kill the lakers at staples, then the lakers go into double OT with those same kings (who u claim are mediocre) and barely escape. Then u back up the lakers losing on christmas by saying the suns blew out the clippers, and then the lakers get blown out by those same suns. How does it feel to be so wrong Qhodges? Guess what, ur also wrong about who they play next. they play the warriors next. they don't play the clippers until the 6th of January. I can't wait until they lose to the clippers to top all of this off. that will be great. Oh, and u said the clippers suck and are bums, but bums don't beat the celtics...like u said, the celtics play their hardest every night...

Clippers arent bums

The clippers arent bums I actually enjoy watching them play they got some pretty good players and when baron davis and kaman are playing good at the same time then they stay in a lot of games unfortunately that doesnt happen all the time but they arent bums and i like their bench a lot better than the lakers bench right now.

And theLakers shouldn't have won against the Kings anyway...Pau Gasol shoved one of the Kings players and scored...Terrible reffing by the refs.

it's all good, we already

it's all good, we already beat the suns by 20 points both the first 2 games this season. The lakers are gonna be fine, you guys enjoy this while it lasts. Fisher to the bench sounds right. Kobe is doing everything he can right now and the other guys need to step it up. It's a long season and everyone goes through their ups and downs.

The Lakers are a great team,

The Lakers are a great team, but I think they're a little overrated right now. This is a team a lot of people predicted to break the 1996 Bulls' 72-10 game win record. A lot of people predicted this team to be head and shoulders above the rest of the league.

The Lakers do have the best record in the league, but they also played 17 of their first 21 games at home. Getting spanked by Dallas on their home floor didn't look good though. Losing to Houston on their home floor by double digits didn't look good.

They also haven't won a big road game yet in my opinion. They got absolutely spanked in Denver, outhustled in Utah and ran off the court last night in Phoenix. They went 4-1 on their first real road trip, but four of those games were against non-playoff teams in the East. It took overtime, 39 points and a game winning shot from Kobe just to beat Milwaukee.

Then we get to the Christmas day game vs Cleveland. Embarrassing. I was anxious to see how the Lakers played head to head vs another elite team... And they got blown out on their home floor.

Andrew Bynum

Without Gasol
20.3 points and 11.8 rebounds

With Gasol
12.9 points and 6.1 rebounds

I remember all the "Andrew Bynum is an All-Star" talk at the beginning of the season and I told you that he wouldn't average anything close to that when Gasol returned. You got upset, but I was just being realistic. I told you that his numbers AND minutes would take a hit. You were in denial. He's regressed substantially and has played passive. His performance vs Cleveland was terrible.

This month Bynum has had games where he's scored 8, 4, 4 and 3 points. He's also been super passive in the rebounding department.

i never said he would

i never said he would average the same when gasol came back but i did say he would put up better numbers then he is now. and clippers. why should i feel bad about being wrong about the lakers beating the cavs?..its the nba teams beat teams. when you're team plays another team of course you expect them to win. im a redskins fans also and every week i say we are gonna beat a team and it seems every week we lose. mike i didnt give the cavs hell from barely beating the suns in over time. got me mixed up with someone else. and clippers yeah im still saying the clippers are bums. untill they get to or close to being .500 i will call them bums. they are ranked 13 out of 15 in the west so ill stick with my opnion of them. yeah they beat the celtics but it was a celtics team without paul p so dont get too excited i know you want me to feel very bad about being wrong about them beating the cavs but hmmm for some reason i just dont. maybe its because i know how good we are and that we will be in the playoffs. do you feel bad about saying how good the clippers were gonna be this summer?..or how you said they were gonna be in the playoffs? are you eating crow now from being WRONG about those comments?

tezo i cant agree with you more about bynum.. its horrible how he just has played so passive and it seems to be because gasol is back. really i dont care to much because gasol is the better player anyway and the lakers dont need bynum to be dominate in order to win. they showed last year that they dont need him to do awhole lot to win but as a fan i just want him to be better so we can dominate everyone. i do think they are overrated sometimes because of how they dont always play very agressive. im not to worried though because its no different then last year or the year before or any year they have won the title. for some reason they go through this every year. the good thing about them is that when they need to be good they do it. i just hate that they turn it on and off like a light switch

the lakers are in a bit of a

the lakers are in a bit of a slump and i think losing to the suns kinda showed them they need to get their stuff together. And to the people that say the Kings are bad, your right but tyreke evens is amazing so it balances out ok

someone please tell me what

someone please tell me what bad is...record tells you how good or bad a team is so if a team is .500 what are they considered?...if they are 3 games under .500 what are they? 4 games? 5 games?...cuz it seems liek if someone likes a team and they are below then they arent considered that bad but if they dont like them and they have the same record then they are considered bad.

no question the lakers are

no question the lakers are not looking as good as i expected this year. They have had a lot of home wins. But in the big picture of things, I think it has more to do with them not bringing it like they should and everyone giving them their best shot. At the end of the day, we are talking about how overrated they are with a record of 24-6 and 3 of those losses came before Gasol was in the lineup. Every team has up's and downs but in june if the lakers win, no one will be talking about what went down in december.

Right now bynum needs to step up. Fisher needs to play less minutes and Lamar needs to play closer to the basket because his jumper is too inconsistent. The guys act like they are just better so they don't have to play smart all the time taking quick jumpers. Talent wise, I still say they are the best in the league. I mean boston is losing right now, the other teams have all had bad games, but because the lakers were expected be so great everyone is holding them to a higher standard.

AS A LAKER FAN I COULDNT

AS A LAKER FAN I COULDNT HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF. and yeah its ture they have played alot of home games and not too still of comp on the road but that happens every year to many teams. and yeah we do get each teams best shot. i guess as a fan i need something to complain about since you cant complain much with a 24-6 record( which is the best int he nba by the way) and each lose does give some laker haters something to cheer about since the lakers are at the top and there teams are at the bottom struggling.

i said the clippers would

i said the clippers would make the playoffs as the 8th seed. then griffin went down. i didn't make a prediction after that. they still have a shot. im not saying they will, but they can. they just need griffin and a new coach.

Clippers

The only player that I love watching in the Clippers is DeAndre Jordan... But they do have a talented team on paper and they are starting to jell now as a team...

Andrew Bynum still got my vote as an All-Star starter but he needs to step up his game and not just rely on Pau Gasol...

starter?..now i know i didnt

starter?..now i know i didnt go that far. duncan or amare will prob be the starter. you wont get a starter doing that (unless voted in) just like you wont put a starter who is putting up better numbers on a sub .500 teams since the numbers dont translate to wins
