Pretty good selections would like to see Randolph make it over Boozer but I must admit I'm biased.Tyreke would be a good look for the west he has a good shot at making it hopefully he and Williams can make it.Deron and Melo should be perenial all stars but it's so thick in the west, glad to they are getting some love in the basketball community.Good post.
Stuckey won't make the All-Star team.
G- Jennings, Johnson, Iguodala
SF- Granger, Wallace, Deng
PF- Lee, Jamison
C- Lopez, Bogut
G- Ellis, Williams, Nash, Roy, Evans
PF- Boozer, Randolph
C- Gasol, Kaman
and ps. stuckey is very close to making an all star team, he almosts deserves it with the numbers he is putting up.
You really think evans will get the choice over mayo, billups, gordon and westbrook? sure he deserves it, but it seems highly unlikely
You think Granger will get in despite his injury? Really like Gerald Wallace to make it.
my choices for all stars were based on the stats they put up this year, so if evans puts up better stats than those other guys, he should make it, i know he most likely will not, but these are the guys i think deserve to be on the teams.
My all-star selections right now would be:
Bench: Rondo, Stuckey, Iguodala, Johnson, Wallace, Pierce, Garnett, Granger, Lopez
Bench: Nash, Roy, Williams, Ellis, Stoudemire, Gasol, Jefferson, Durant, Boozer
Alternates for the East: Jennings, Carter, Allen, Lee
Alternates for the West:
Evans, Parker, Billups, Randolph
This is my team .
G: Nash, Roy, Ellis, D-Will, Evans, Westbrook
C: Gasol (Marc), Kaman
G: Rondo, Jennings, Johnson, Stuckey
SF: Iguodala, Wallace (Gerald),
PF: Lee, Smith (Josh)
C: Lopez, Bogut
most of the players on bad teams dont have a real good chance. usually the players on good teams get the looks first even if there stats arent as good as the player son bad teams so zach, chris, monta, evans might end up getting left off.
Nice post but AI is second leading guard vote getter after Wade at this point and I don't think anyone will catch him in the east.
if u guys didnt notice yet ill tell you the all star game is a popularity contest. when u have tmac and ai which are both making it over deserving players is total garbage
thanks for the feedback guys....i feel like stuckey has throughout the majority of this season carried a very bad detroit pistons team and made them a slightly average team...he is an impressive player and i think his stats make him a legit all-star
I am hoping Josh Smith will be chosen in the All-Star Game... It will fulfill my fantasy of watching him and LeBron playing together... I want to see how it turns out...LOL
the starters are a poularity contest since the fans get to pick thoses
