J-Bayless

Every time i watch Bayless i can't help but think he is like Arenas. I honestly think only Rose and Lopez will have better NBA careers than him. (On par with Mayo) Your thoughts?

I think that the Blazers

I think that the Blazers would rather hold onto Bayless and the Grizz hold onto Gay.

bayless would fit in well

bayless would fit in well with the grizzlies, they need more dribble drives in their offence

Bayless

is a good fit with the Blazers... They just need to play him more with Roy... Once he learns how to take smarter shots that combo will be the best in the league as far as back courts... Its perfectly set up too... Roy is somewhat passive sometimes and so is LeMarcus, so Bayless taking 15-20 shots a game and being aggressive is what that team needs... I'm not saying Roy isn't capable of being the number 1 (look at the 41 PG), just rather work within the offense...

tuck 243 you got that right

tuck 243 you got that right once bayless and roy adjust to playing together and get used to eachother they will be a terror. their games really compliment eachother too. having roy as the 2 allows bayless at the 1 to be and attacking point guard becaus all the portland guards really do is bring the ball up the court and give it to roy to start the play. with roy on the court he is still free to handle the ball and direct theteam and bayless doesnt have to take the full load of running the team. roys game is smooth, seems like nobody can make him rush. bayless's game is fast and agressive he gets into the guy his guarding and takes it hard to the rim when he has the ball in his hands. hes also shown an improving jump shot (a must when playing next to roy because roy draws a double team) and better decision making. alot of people say that he isnt a true point but in portlands offense he doesnt have to be a chris paul type playmaker, just speedy enough to sprint the ball to halfcourt and pass it off to roy

On the bench for too long

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Nate McMillan should get smacked for keeping Bayless on the bench for such a long time. Outlaw and Fernandez had to get hurt before he got some decent playing time. Is he a true point? No, but neither is Monta Ellis, and he's pretty decent, don't you think? As far as being traded, I don't see it happening anytime soon; he'll probably just stay with Portland, where they can show off his potential like the Wizards do with Nick Young.
