how to fix the wizards

we all know the wizards have one of the best taleented teams when healthy. but somehow this team cant win games, the defense is horrible. and flip is not putting the right rotations on the court. anyway.
this is how i make the wizards a better team if i was the gm. first of all i would let know flip saunders his job is safe. but i would tell him he needs to play rookies and other underachiving good players like young, mcgaee and A.B. now in the draft i would just pray and cross my fingers i lad that first pick so i can get wall. but i doubt . but hey second, third or fourth would do. now i would consider getting a player thats ready to play. wesley johnson comes to mind, ed davis . ima draft a big man and that will be ed davis. i think he will be a good player down the road. boom. then i trade jamison, foye,.
for some cap space i go after guys like travis outlaw,al harrington,.
so i sign travis outlaw, sign a veteran big man like a tony battie or joe smith.
i keep butler until the trade deadline in the 2010 nba season .
my main core would be pg-arenas sg-butler sf-outlaw 4-ed davis 5-mcagee

trading #5 pick

for bench players like miller/foye set this franchise back....that's the kind of move GM's get fired for. Even if Rubio won't be over for 1.5 years.

One word, selfish

The Wizards are talented but they have a lot of selfish players. Especially their leader, Arenas. Every body wants to score. When they learn to play as a team they will be better.

Why wouldn't you have

Why wouldn't you have drafted Rubio then traded him for a prospect definately some teams would be willing to trade for him. Miller and Foye just add depth its time to trade away Butler and Jamison for picks and expiring contracts.
Rebuild through the draft and free agency now instead of putting it off till the summer or 2011 trade deadline.

The problem with the Wizards
The problem with the Wizards is Caron Butler.  I know he is really talented but he doesn't fit into this new offense.  He needs to be traded for expiring contracts & draft picks.  Randy Foye & Nick Young could also be traded too for the same thing.  Everybody else needs to stay, this team isn't in a ton of trouble yet.  Still some time to turn it around.  On paper this team is definitely a playoff team.

wiz

The Wizards definately need to trade either Jamison or Butler. Jamsion is coveted by a lot of teams that require post scoring such as the Cavs or maybe even the Hawks as a backup/7th man. Butler could be used by a some teams, too and is likely more expendable than Jamison. Both are replacable, though- Blatche and Nick young would both flourish in starting roles. The same thing has happened year after year, the WIzards just don't get i done and if they make the playoffs they are gone immediatley. Something needs to change.

I don't know why

Arenas gets all the blame for being selfish...Jamison is one of the most selfish players in the league. I know he's a great player and he went to my favorite college, but come on...He takes stupid shots all the time. Arenas has been playing well lately don't put the blame on him.

arenas needs to play SG

i think they need to make arenas play SG just like what miami did to dwayne wade and the sixers did to iverson, those teams made it into the championship when they did that. They don't need to have rubio or john wall, hinrich will be enough because he was a good PG with ben gordon as shooting early in his career. For me butler and jamison could stay they have nick young, miller, foye to trade to other teams.
