Lebryan nash vs perry jones

did anyone watch this game that was on tv ( and justin tv)

perry jones is a good future talent but he got punished by the nash kid who i think will be a better player. nash is a year behind perry and a good 3-4 inches shorter but he has the body of a nba player now..hes strong explosive and has good fundamantals. i can understand now why perry wasnt rated that high prior to this summer. granted hes full of potential for a guy his height but his career could easily go down the road of jonathen bender. he doesnt give alot of effort the whole game and he struggles in structured enviorment as you can see by a couple of games where he finishes wit 4pts,8pts, 3reb

Didn't watch the game, but

Didn't watch the game, but ill go ahead and say that Perry Jones has more potential than any player right now, anywhere(Outside of Wall maybe)....

I'm not surprised that a shorter and stouter player beat up on Jones. That happens alot to taller lankier players who arent used to a big man getting in their chest. I'm still tremendously high on Jones though because I cant find any film of him just laying a ball in. He slams the ball on every opportunity. Alot of big men are soft nowadays and he reminds me a little of KG. I hope he has the attitude I think he does.

it wasnt the fact that nash

it wasnt the fact that nash was smaller it was the fact that nash is better. skill wise stronger, higher basketball iq, and works harder. and nash is a grade below jones. the only think jones has on him is height but nash is so skilled and works so hard it didnt matter. jones is ones of those that i wouldnt be suprised if he never reaches the expectations that everyone places on him. hes just doesnt go hard alot of times. just think of thedeandre jordan kid. tons and tons of talent but just doesnt work real hard and doesnt have that fire in him. he doesnt have that kg fire in him..not even close

Lol, yeah, his name is nucking futs. On a side note, why is John Wall's highlight reel on his profile?

I haven't had the opportunity to watch either of them play, but people have been drooling over Perry Jones. His game has been compared to T-Mac, and I'm dying to see what he does once he steps foot on campus at Waco, Texas.

This LeBryan Nash kid is definitely one to keep an eye on. I remember hearing his name a couple of years back, but I've never even seen highlights of him. High school basketball needs more T.V coverage.

jones potential is the key

jones potential is the key word with him. but his work ethic is very very low and his game is still pretty raw hence someone so big and athletic that can handle the ball only putting up games of single diget points and rebounds

Perry Jones

That's how it is with alot of high school players that have his combination of size and ability. They have the option to play at 50%, yet still put up big numbers. Obviously, this concept might not be working very well for Perry Jones, but there's still plenty of time left before he puts on a college uniform, much less an NBA one.

jones is going to be good,

jones is going to be good, but i don't think a good situation to compare hime to is deandre jordan, because he's been working his butt off since he got to the clippers. and lebryan nash from what i first read a couple of months ago is a 6'7" 225 pound small forward who can also play point guard, now if you like the point forward type over the pure scorer then you take nash but jones will go around the kevin durant type of play and nash will be the andre igoudala type of player, with a better scoring mentality.

jared sullinger did his

jared sullinger did his thing also that nite driving to the lane from a good distance, controlling the ball late in a close game, 1 possession he brung the ball up full court without getting it stripped,,plus he an shhot for a big man he hit the game winning shot, dagger post move with a hook to kill there hope ,and 2 put away free throw....unstoppable on the highschool level I think it was the first time.... he made history i think being 1 of a few or the only to have his school a non ranked school or sumthin like that to beat a top ranked or the number 1 ranked school

Perry Jones is a 6'11 wing

Perry Jones is a 6'11 wing with guard handles, a sweet looking stroke, and he is super athletic. He is going to be great.

how many players have good

how many players have good skills but cant seem to put it together?..or how many do things in summer leauge or on the play ground but as soon as you put them in a organized game they cant do. not saying jones doesnt have the potential but all of ya'll are going off of what ya'll seen on clips as to what he is gonna be instead of what he might be. jones isnt a durant type player im sorry. he doesnt have that work ethic nor that drive at this point. could it change..yes but it could also never come and some people have to realize that instead of thinking theres no way that he wont be a star because there is a way that he wont be a star. its happened plenty of times in basketball. its disturbing the way he plays most times and the numbers he puts up when hes is not even getting double teamed much. there is a chance that he never reaches his full potential and become no better then a average college or nba player that you always say "man he could do more"

id recruit nash before perry

id recruit nash before perry i watched him play twice and both times didnt see anything decent.......and both games i watched he lost

jared sullinger demolished Tristan thompson...no lets say he was able to do whatever whenever he got the ball

if evan turner stays another year at ohio to improve his stock..which may drop because injury

i see them going deep in the tourny with flaurdale and jared plus turner gettin every rebound

i agree steve except for the

i agree steve except for the jared sullinger part.. he was guarded by the godwin kid the whole game untill he fouled out then they switched tristan onto jared. at that point it as near the end of the game and both players scored on each other.

Wow I didn't know Quincey got banned. I thought he was rehabbing his knee for the 3 straight year so he could embark on his turbulent journey towards semi-pro basketball.
