Im at the houston vs tcu game last night, not expecting anything spectacular to happen, and nothing did. houston won by alot. aubrey coleman and kelvin lewis got their buckets. and was your average blowout. but i did come away impressed with a 6'7 freshman from tcu. during the game he was solid with 8 points 5 rebounds(played mostly downlow slashing to the rim). but before the game i watched him show his nice touch from outside(0-2 on 3s during the game). he also showed off some incredible leaping ability with an effortless windmill and attempted put back where his eyes were rim level(I was courtside and when i say eyes rim level i mean it). he is a smooth player and he reminded me of gerald green. now, coming away impressed by his touch and athleticism i did some research. i found out that his name is garlon green, he is from the houston area, and sure enough is gerald green's younger brother. he was a 3 star recruit but from what i saw he could contribute at the nba level with some seasoning
He'll stay at college for 3-4 years and develop into what everyone hoped his brother would develop into.
that's cool but Gerald Green is still playing ball and lifting weights and all that, he still has time to develop
I think you just posted to diss Gerald that's screwed up knicksfan
no i didnt post to diss gerald, i just was impressed with his brothers skills. but he has a long way to go before he is as good as his brother. i like gerald and hope he works hard and gets another shot in the league.
Jumpman99---I did not post that to dis Gerald, I am just saying hopefully this kid takes his time and stays in college and become a player that a lot of ppl hoped Gerald would have become.
Trinajoe--Jumpman was referring to me.
Gerald still gots a chance, that's what I'm saying didnt mean to call you out like that
it's all good, don't worry about it. I have noticed you say you're a ball player. Do you play in college, if so where at?
i dont know if any of you remember the action thriller Con Air starrring nicolas cage and john malkovich
but the psyhcopathic serial killer on the plane played by steve buscemi was named Garlon Green
hahahahahaha, so are you saying this Garlon Green is the motivation of his name by his parents?? LOL
