Who is the better pair of PGs?? I am taking the 2 best from the past 4 drafts.
All of these guys are great, young PGs in the league but which class was the best??
Its close between
08 and 09
I think Rose and Westbrook though.
Shooting and Scoring wise? 09 with Evans and Jennings
Distributing wise and athletically? Russ and Rose, even though its close still
it is close between 08 and 09 but i have to give the edge to 09. jennings/evans would beat the others in a game of 2 on 2 imo. just from looking at evans and jennings play they seem to have a stronger competitive fire in them than the rest. You need that from your players
If it was 2 on 2 im taking evans and jennings because rose nor westbrook can guard evans at all he has height wieght and length on all of them
haha you don't think westbrook can guard evans. that's funny. Yes Evans is 6'6 and strong, but Westbrook can easily guard him.. plus he locked Jennings as well when they played
I think I will go with Rose and Westbrooks, they are both studs. With their natural abitilies they can still get even better. I think the 09 guards might have a higher skill level, but I think the 08 group has a higher ceiling.
this is very hard...its between 08 and 09 but im gonna go with 09...the guys are better scorers and i think evans is going to have a very bright future..meanwhile rose and westbrook seem content with sitting at 16 and 6
It's kind of hard to say which class was the best, since it hasn't been that long. A lot of y'all are sleeping on Stuckey and Brooks. Stuckey is averaging 19.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.5 steals right now. A lot of y'all seem to forget that Stuckey is a 6' 5" 205 lb point guard. Brooks is averaging 17.1, 2.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
If we're talking about upside, then it's a tough choice to make between the 08 and 09 class... It's a hard choice, but I'd probably go with Rose and Westbrook due to their overall packages of size, speed, quickness, strength and athleticism.
