Devendorf gets bad advice from agent: plans to join D-league

Here's your chance to laugh at Dhamp2. Merry Christmas!!! I do admit when I am wrong and this hurts more than anything. I can only find one of the two links I discovered yesterday, but Devo said his agent gave him bad advice about entering the draft. He said he blames no one but himself. It's also been noted that he didn't graduate from Syracuse as was widely reported last summer. He's been in Michigan taken online courses to complete his degree. There was much speculation that he was set to sign with a team in Israel last month, but apparently, his agent bothched that as well. In six months, his agent did nothing for him, so Devo fired the guy and hired a new agent. In one week, the new agent has all but signed him with the D-league. Before heading to Reno, Devo consulted with several former players, coaches etc, including Mateen Cleaves. Here's the second link I found.

How did Victor Page ever think he was the next Iverson?
Remember when Scoonie Penn was more highly reguarded than Michael Redd?
Jamal Mashburn single-handedly took on the Fab Five in the Final 4

I think there can be a spot

I think there can be a spot for him somewhere. A team that needs a backup PG and a scorer off the bench might try him out. I mean why not??

He spent four years on campus, one of which was a redshirt because he tore his ACL.

That was misreported. He wasn't even arrested. The girl assualted him and he pushed her away, missed a few games, conducted community service and then lead Syracuse to a 6-overtime win over UConn.

DHamp, you and devendorf's

DHamp, you and devendorf's agent are probably the only people who thought he was making a good decision by coming out and was an nba player.

I never said he should go

I never said he should go pro. He should have stayed..... I just made it know when he declared. Big deal. It was a fact that I first reported on this website.

syracuse

Yeah he made a horrible decision leaving we'll never see him in the NBA, but it seems like Syracuse got better without him.

I never even used to word bum!!!!!! Ever!!! You did!!!! I said Gallinari sucked. And he does. So how am I a hypercrite??? Because I posted that Devo said he got bad advice??? That's what he said. Maybe he did; maybe not. I was just passing along the information. So that makes me a hypercrite....Understand one thing you posters follow my lead, LOL. Just like little puppies, lol. I said Melo would lead the NBA in scoring, now everyone is jocking me. Next I said Wesley Johnson would be a top 10 pick. I told everyone that I live in Oklahoma and Willie Warren won't be a lottery pick and that's he's overated. He won't be a lottery pick. Once again, you guys are jocking, please get off my jock.

When I'm wrong, such as the case with Devo, then I admit it. Now I will use the word bum and it's directed to you.

HEAR ME OUT

I'm not a fan of Devo but when you think about it he did not make a terrible decision entering the draft last year (yes I know he didn't get drafted). I don't know the numbers but I believe that last year he put up his best numbers of his career. The kid wanted to be in the NBA and last year was his best chance, he knew his numbers would not get better. If he were on this years Cuse team what number option would he be???

lol dhamp Devendorf didnt

lol dhamp Devendorf didnt carry Syracuse to that win it was Harris and flynn who did. as an Orenge fan who kindve likes him i have to say hes not a good playmaker or defender and just looks to score which will be harder against more athletic defenders in the nba. i like Harris as a prospect more honestly.

Willie Warren is going to

Willie Warren is going to end up a lottery pick, he is just having a hard time playing without a legit low post scoring threat. Watch him and its evident he is trying to do too much and carry a team, and lets face it, he won't have to do that at an NBA level. He will have some sort of low post scoring presence, Gallon's 12 ppg is just not enough. He'll impress in the combine and camps and find his way into the late lottery.
